Title: Tasty and easy recipes for bread machine
Review: After many years of not baking bread I just started baking again with a new bread machine. Cuisinart bread maker is my second bread maker. This recipe book has options for 1 pound, 1-1/2 pound , and 2 pound loaves. So far I have tried 2 recipes from the No-Fuss Bread Machine cookbook. The recipes are easy to follow, and they came out soft and with the right amount of chewiness. I ran out of bread flour and substituted with all purpose flour and added 1/2 teaspoon of xanthum gum for every one cup of flour. It came out perfect. I will be trying more recipes including the non yeast ones and ones baked in the oven.

Title: The bread tastes wonderful and the recipies are easy to follow
Review: I purchased this along with a new bread machine. I have tried several recipes and my wife and I have been amazed at every one of them. I used to rely on bread mixes because they are quick and easy. One reason that I switched from using mixes was the cost. A box of bread mix could cost $9+ and the shipping for 1 to 3 boxes could be $9+. If you are pressed for time, the prepared mixes are very good . While it does take me longer to prepare the recipe, I find it fun and not too time consuming. The book claims 10 minutes to prepare. I haven't timed my preparation time as I have what ever time it takes me and the results are well worth the time it takes. My point is , don't expect the recipe to always be ready in exactly 10 minutes. It may take 15 minutes or longer to prepare everything I have always been afraid to try anything other than a basic white or wheat recipe for bread because I was thought that I would mess it up. With the results from this book, even if I don't think the bread turned out perfectly, I want to try the recipe again. Normally, if something doesn't turn out right, I may shelve it to possibly try at a later time, then move on to something else. My problem now is that I want to make the breads again that I have already tried and make new recipes. There are just so many loaves of bread that we can enjoy at one time! I do keep some of the loaves in the refrigerator, but even they are gone within a week. Right now I am in a quandary, do I make a recipe that we enjoyed or do I try something new?We have tried a basic white bread, a cinnamon raisin bread, zucchini pecan bread, oatmeal bread and peanut butter bread. The peanut butter bread really good with a little jelly (or jam or preserves) spread on it. If you have a bread machine and are at all interested in enjoying different breads, you should add this cookbook to your library.

Review: I’m not a baker. I am a good cook but baking I’m just starting with in my 40s. While I love this book for the options and the clear instructions I don’t love that the recipes almost all use honey and melted butter instead of oil (I use EVO) and sugar. It tends to encourage mistakes for me. Ha!

Review: Loads of recipes lots of different varieties. Very easy. Recipes I e tried so far have been turning out great in my bread machine. I’m also enjoying taking some ideas and mixing and matching some recipes from the book. (I.e. Going “off grid” with personal tweaks & experimentation….with so many recipes, it gives lots of ideas as well!) I just got it and will be looking forward to going through a number of them that I have already tagged and highlighted to try out. My husband is looking forward to the Bread experiments as well! 🙂

Review: The book arrived in excellent condition. My copy just arrived today, so I have not had a chance to try the recipes yet. However, there are so many that I would like to (much more so than most books). I really like that each recipe has a breakdown of calories, fibre, protein, etc per slice. This is really helpful for us as we need to count calories as much as possible (for medical reasons). So many books don't include this information, and that makes them difficult to work with. I am glad to have this for my library, and I really look forward to trying many of these recipes.
