Title: Hearty Soups is a SUPERB COOKBOOK if you love superb tasting homemade soup!
Review: Personally, I love soup and grew up eating soup (homemade and canned). In fact, at least one meal daily, I eat soup! And if at all possible, I always prefer a great tasting HOMEMADE SOUP! Sound familiar? This cookbook I happened upon while doing a search called Homemade Soups in Kindle. Bought it without hesitation! Before I give to you what I found to be the Pros in this cookbook, I will say that I am very, very, picky about soups, especially recipes for homemade soups! OK, here are my favorite things about this book and the PROS:+ Part One - Cream Soups - A 5 step by step easy lesson is given on how to prepare any type of cream soup from the cooking of the starch (flour or cornstarch etc), cooking the soup base, adding vegetables, puree the soup and finishing the soup.+ Superb Basic Recipe for Cream Soup - Love this one as I can change out the vegetables to my liking and for variety. But this is like a template recipe!+ Cheesy Potato Soup - My favorite of all of the recipes. Not only is this tasty, it a soup that I can double the recipe and have for lunch the next day.+ Cream of Potato Soup - This is the ideal way to get those homemade mashed potatoes taste into a creamy and easy to eat soup! His recipe is quick and easy! (I did cook the potatoes for 22 minutes as I like them softer).+ Every type of soup, whether creamed or regular is wonderful. The Southwest Corn Soup, Classic Calico Soup (a very healthy and easy to make vegetable soup) and so many more give me the soup recipes I was looking for!Highly recommend this cookbook!

Title: Simple and Informative
Review: This cookbook is really easy to follow. The recipes don't seem to be too complicated so anyone can do it, you don't have to be a professional chef to accomplish any of it. It guides you step by step with additional suggestions which I thought were very helpful and different depending on how you want to make your soup. It ranges from basic everyday soups that everyone loves to some that I haven't heard of before, but they sound delicious. In addition, they give instructions on how to make the noodles for the soup. So exciting.

Title: Good book
Review: Hearty Soups is an interesting book, provides clear directions on how to prepare cream Soup and some delicious soup recipes. The bright side of this book is that it is divided the recipes into big categories, Cream soup recipes and Broth and other soups, I liked that the book provides an image for every recipe too. The cover didn't help much and wasn't too keen on some of the soups when I tried them out.

Title: I am experienced, this improved me
Review: I have been comfortable in the kitchen for over 30 years. So when a cookbook gives me some new ideas and introduces me to meta-recipes (will explain), I pay attention. Most cookbooks tell you how to make a recipe, maybe even give you ideas of changes or variations. This one teaches you how to CREATE soups. It offers recipes but, as it does so, it gives techniques that allow you to make all manner of variations and create your own.Hearty Soups gets a hearty 5 stars!

Title: Great starter soup cookbook
Review: If you are somewhat unfamiliar with soup making or if you're looking for just a few good recipes, this is the book for you! Even if you're a seasoned soup maker this book will have value. The recipes are divided into two categories, cream and broth-based. The instructions are clear and easy to follow. The ingredients used are easily available and generally economical. There is a delightful variety of recipes as well as recipes for homemade noodles.I recommend this little cookbook for anyone who likes soup, whether you have ever made a pot for yourself or not.

Title: Warm soup on a cold night
Review: This little book was filled with recipes to warm your insides and they are all fairly easy to accomplish.Once you have tried making cream soup according to his instructions, you can try any of his variations or have the confidence to try your own ideas. The only problem with this book is that the first couple of recipes and the instructions for cream soup base, were duplicated--some kind of technical glitch, I assume. Just an FYI, it opened at 6%.Thank you for providing this book as a free download. I will be trying the potato cheese soup soon...then on to some of the others.

Title: I was really disappointed on how the recipes tasted
Review: I was really disappointed on how the recipes tasted; was not the awe I was expecting from this book. Tasted like soups from restaurants, was really surprised that it had a familiar taste and reminded me of the depressing restaurant on our area; not sure if the chef got the same recipe from this book. The recipes are really not worth the time, effort and money. There was one recipe that was okay though; Calico Brunswick recipe was okay. Although, I still had to modify the recipe to add more flavor to it, 6 cups of chicken stock won't do the trick.

Title: Eat Large
Review: The recipes were easily grasped and looked interesting, but unless you have a large family or are planning a celebration or to have leftover soup, you're probably better off opening a canned soup. The recipes were all largish and gave no recommendation as to how many they would serve. One unobtrusive ad link, but for a free book, I don't consider that to be a negative.

Review: Niente di meglio nella stagione fredda di una bella zuppa fumante! Queste ricette in Inglese aiutano a realizzare diverse gustosissime zuppe.

Review: I can't wait to try some of these recipes and hope they work with vegetable stock instead of chicken stock! You get the basic recipe and lots of additional recipes for ideas which you can then use to create your own flavours. The egg noodle and dumpling recipes are a bonus. Note: all recipes use the American 'cup' measures which you should be able to get in any good kitchenware shop, even if you don't live in America, and they are really easy to use - far simpler than having to weigh everything.
