Review: I always prefer making my own hamburgers for the grill, rather than buying frozen patties. Of course, I like to take ground beef and form it by hand, as well as mix in some spices. Forming it by hand has been my go to for decades, but I've always been curious to try one of these hamburger patty presses. I like the stainless steel construction of this particular press, and the ease of use is excellent. It forms the perfect size patty, which inevitably shrinks to just the right size on the grill for store bought buns. It's a simple press down mechanism, that could be operated with one hand, to form an excellent patty. The ground beef does not stick to it, and comes out of the mold perfectly. I also received 100 patty papers, which are very handy because my grill is downstairs on the pool deck, since I live in a condo complex. So, having some patty papers is nice for the short transportation that I have to do, to go downstairs to use the BBQ. All in all, it's a pretty nifty little gadget, and I'm plenty happy to have it. I will admit, that it makes a better patty, than I have been able to accomplish simply by hand. I would recommend it.
