Choice is what it's all about: Choosing your favorite flavor, favorite topping or swirl-in, favorite frozen dessert. For no matter what kind of ice cream maker you own -- an inexpensive canister or a top-of-the-line electric freezer -- there's an extra special treat here for you.
Exciting flavors include an assortment of vanillas of varying degrees of richness, several great chocolates, Butter Pecan, Sensational Strawberry, Peaches 'n' Cream, Utterly Peanut Butter and Double Ginger to mention only a sampling. For an extra flourish, there's a collection of ice creams with add-ons -- swirls and twirls, sauces and toppings. There is even an entire chapter of great reduced-fat light ice creams and nonfat frozen yogurts with names like Creamy Banana, Cappuccino, Date Rum and Maple Crunch.
Many completely fat-free frozen delights are covered in the chapter called "Sorbets, Granitas and Other Ices." Enticing and refreshing, they come in flavors such as Kiwi-Lime, Mango Margarita, Spiced Rasberry and Strawberry Daquiri. And for showstopping, truly fabulous desserts, made completely in advance, turn to the last chapter, which contains ice cream cakes, pies and other frozen desserts.

Title: Very, Very Pleased!
Review: I hesitate to order recipe books anymore, because I find that Iâm so excited, and then when I get it, I only find 2-3 recipes that I really want to make. Alsoâ an attractive cover and a lot of photos are usually a must for me. Well, I bought this ice cream recipe book based on a review I read, and Iâm thrilled! The cover isnât very compelling and there are no photos, but the recipes all sound delicious, and it was just what I was looking for! I just bought an ice cream maker, and Iâm sure this is the only recipe book I will ever need! Not only are there a lot of delicious-sounding recipes, but it covers the basics so thoroughly that you can easily make your own concoctions using this as a guide. This was a great purchase, and I couldnât be happier!

Title: The Best Ice Cream Maker Cookbook Ever
Review: This is a very nice ice cream cook book and I like it. I don't like the navigation very much, and that's why it only gets 4 stars. You have to highlight or bookmark recipes or use the search function as there is no functional index, and the ToC is divided into Chapters-but you can't click on individual recipes. There are descriptors for each chapter: Chapter One "Make Mine Ice Cream. Pick any one of the 36 flavors. . . . " You can navigate to each chapter, but you have to page through it to see what's in it. Chapter 2 is Swirls and Add-ins, but also has some ice cream recipes. Chapter 3-lighter ice creams, Chapter 4-Sorbets, Granitas and other Ices, and Chapter 5, Ice Cream Cakes and other Frozen Desserts. Otherwise, it's very nice, well-written and has good recipes.

Title: The Only Ice Cream Recipe Book Must Have
Review: After much research looking into ice cream recipe books, I decided to try this one. It truly is the only book youâll ever need. Most of the recipes are easy, for beginners like me and works with any type of ice cream maker. It also has more advanced recipes for ice cream experts, and adult ice cream recipes. Think mint Grasshoppers 🙂 No pictures, just all great recipes and ideas. I generally donât write reviews unless an item far exceeds my expectations. This book does. I highly recommend it.

Title: OK, But No Nutrional Info Provided For Any of the Recepies
Review: Just got this book, and while it does seem to have an ample supply of different recepies (and all that contain raw eggs do have you cook them into a custard, unlike the Ben & Jerry's cookbook), none of them contain any nutritional information. I purchased this book along with my Cuisinart ICE-30BC Pure Indulgence 2-Quart Automatic Ice Cream Maker, and I guess the recepies included with the instruction manual (there are quite a few, all with nutritional info) spoiled me. I suppose if you're making ice cream the last thing you might care about is calorie, fat, cholesterol, etc. details. But for me, I am so conditioned to tracking the nutritional info of the food I am ingesting (even ice cream!) and I am so used to this info always being readily accessible, that I returned this book. It seems this content would have been a minor addition and I feel it was a big mistake for the author not to provide it.

Title: Looks vintage but the recipes are spot on!
Review: I hesitated about this book: it looks like something from the 70s or 80s and there are plenty of flashy newer ice cream cookbooks with clever titles out there on Amazon that are tempting. But in the review for my ice cream maker, someone mentioned this book in particular, so I thought I would give it a try. We've made three recipes so far: Classic Chocolate Ice Cream (added Reese's Peanut Butter Cups and chocolate covered pretzels...delicious!), Bittersweet Chocolate Truffle Ice Cream (added the same stuff as before...unbelievably delicious and decadent, even better than the previous), and most recently, Mint Chocolate Chip Ice Cream which uses Andes mints (another winner!). The recipes are easy to follow and are not complicated. I've since downloaded a few other ice cream cookbooks using my Kindle Unlimited membership but this cookbook is my favorite. Just don't expect anything fancy, nor any pictures, because you will be disappointed. It's a no-frills cookbook filled with good recipes.

Title: Chock Full of Recipes
Review: Wow, only paid a little over a dollar for a used book that looks brand new and hard covered besides. The book is full of recipes for ice cream making. Now I have two books and one manual that came with my machine and don't know which one to pick. I'm going to pick up my ingredients on Monday and I just can't wait to try one of these. It cost so much to buy ice cream and to think, we can make our own. Ice cream makers aren't that expensive now and they certainly will pay for themselves in the meantime and you can have endless kinds, the healthy version of something yummy and sweet. This books is awesome. I appreciate the way it is so clean, a Hard Cover Besides. I couldn't be more pleased with my purchase.

Title: Nice book
Review: We have a tradition of making homemade ice cream with friends every weekend. We were running out of flavor ideas so I purchased this book. Everything we have tried has been good. The ultimate peanut butter has been the best so far. We top it with chopped Reese's pieces. Great book full of ideas. I like that yields are given at the end of each recipe so that I know if we have to double or triple.

Review: Terrible book. Very small with absolutely no photos or other type of illustration. Printed on cheap off colour paper and very small. Nothing like the illustration on line. Measurements are American, cups etc. Extremely disappointing and a complete waste of money.
