Each flavor of Villa Real's Mexican Hot Chocolate has a wonderful depth and beautifully complex flavor: creamy, nutty, an a delicious balance between bitter and sweet. The cinnamon is a defining feature of Mexican Hot Chocolate and is an ideal complement for the cacao's bitter undertones.
Almond - the sweetness of the three flavors, te ground almonds and pecans make for a buttery and luxurious texture.
Vanilla - the addition of vanilla and a higher cocoa content results in a lovely aroma and comforting flavor.
Sweet Dark - the highest percentage of cocoa creates a decadent treat with all the texture and complexity, but with less sweetness.
We partner with family-owned business Villa Real to source our Mexican Hot Chocolate. They treat cocoa as a sacred ingredient inherited from their ancestors. They turn it into a mixture of flavors and ingredients that will make your palate fill with emotions and memories. It’s the taste of nostalgia.

Title: The Mexican Hot Chocolate
Review: I love this brand of Mexican Hot Chocolate. Ordered the Vanilla and I was sent the Dark Chocolate. It was alright but it was not as good as the Vanilla. So I added Vanilla Extract and it was delicious.

Title: Not overpowering, perfect!
Review: I wanted a chocolate that wasn't like the usual grocery store ones. I think there are two main brands out there. I was happy to find an alternative. These are about half the size of the regular ones you're used to. The vanilla was super mild, it's there but it doesn't taste like artificial flavoring. The bag adds to the whole vibe and I think if you match it with a cute mug it'll be a nice gift. Highly recommend (at least the vanilla which is what I got).

Title: HORRIBLE taste!
Review: This tastes like the powder like pouches that Walmart sells for $3. Horrible powdery taste. I used one otherwise I would return it. Not worth even a penny! DO NOT buy if youâre looking for the authentic Mexican chocolate. Your better off buying the Taza brand, they do have that authentic flavor/taste and no chemicals.

Title: Terrific Hot Chocolate
Review: This is so creamy and delicious, not too sweet. Iâve tried other Mexican hot chocolate brands that were too sweet and grainy. This one is lovely.

Title: Mexican Chocolate
Review: I didnât like this chocolate , I actually thought it was going to taste very delicious. I made it for Christmas morning, Just didnât taste deliciously at all , just like plain chocolate for the price of it I will stick with chocolate Ibarra or Abuelita Chocolate it has more of delicious taste. I would add cinnamon sticks when you boil with the chocolates I mention.
