Review: I just used this wonderful little machine for the third time. I just had two of the most delicious hot dogs that I have ever eaten in my 67 1/2 years on this planet. I am not even a big fan of hot dogs. But this baby's came out perfect! Juicy, but we'll done with a slight burn just like I like them! Clean up isn't too bad, definitely not a deal breaker. Yes it has a plastic door and the wire basket bun rack is flimsy. But at this price point you can't go wrong. My unit arrived with one side of the wire bun basket detached from the door. I managed to bend it back in and it works fine. Bottom line..treat her gently but firmly and you will enjoy the result's..COOK WITH THE LID UP..NEVER DOWN WHEN PLUGGED IN!! ENJOY YOUR DOGS!

Title: with that little timer you dont have to worry about burning the hot dogs
Review: nice little machine. it cooked the dogs slowly, took 30 to 40 minutes to cook large thick sausages but at least it does not burn them. you set the timer and go about your business. it is not easy to clean though. i use a mild to medium lightly dampened SMALL piece of scotch brite square with little dish soap. and that cleans the round cooking tubes quickly without hurting the stainless steel. every so often i turn on the motor which turns the rollers around so i can clean all the sides. as long as you dont turn on the timer, the rollers will not get hot. the drip pan is a really good thing, it keeps grease or drippings in one place easy to remove the pan and clean that part. that clear plastic lid MUST be kept open because those round cooking tubes put out a ton of heat and they will WARP that clear plastic lid if you leave it closed over the cooking hot dogs. they should of made that lid metal. nice thing is it cooks slowly so there is not much if any grease splatter from the cooking hot dogd. but being able to close the lid would aid in cooking the weiners faster plus stop ANY splatter from happening. i guess any splatter would depend on what susage or hot dogs your cooking. i actually had no splatter occuring

Title: It doesn't cook evenly
Review: The hot dogs were cooked in some places it wasn't even cooked. 2nd thing it takes forever to cook. I could of put them in oven on broil and got done less then 4 min and saved 50$. I had to wailt 30 min and they weren't even cooked right. I'm returning waste of time thank God I can get a refund

Title: You get what you pay for!
Review: When you buy cheap, you get cheap. My hotdog roller arrived with the same issues that many others have reported. The bun warmer door had popped out of its hinge points, and the drip-tray was slightly too small, so that it wouldn't stay on the bent metal tabs that are supposed to hold it in place. This appliance is cheaply made. I managed to get the door back into place and then flattened out the flanges on the drip pan so that it now stays in place.The one positive comment is that the griller actually makes pretty good hotdogs. They're cooked all the way through and the buns are warm.

Review: My husband bought this for me as a joke for our anniversary. I've always preferred hot dogs in the oven or from the grill and he thinks that is "high maintenance." I admit I love a RaceTrac hot dog....I'm easy like that. This are so good and the hot dogs come out perfect the buns are nice and warm. So honestly the joke is on him. I love it. Super easy to clean with a moist paper towel and take the tray out and handwashing. So easy!!

Review: I did not put the lid down when the hot dogs were cooking because I heard it could melt the lid. I only use the lid to keep that part clean during storage. The hot dogs come out really tasty and are even tastier if you boil them first and then put them on the hot dog maker. It is fun to use and doesnt take up too much space. It comes with a built in timer. The buns warm and then toast very slowly. You dont have to worry about them burning.
