The Gourmet d'Expert Electric Skillet is a multi-functional electric skillet with two cooking plates; a deep pan (3-1/8” deep) with a divider to enjoy two types of hot pot at once and a dual surface griddle pan for grilling meats and vegetables. The grill surface allows fats to drip aay while the griddle surface is ideal for grilling vegetables. Both pans are made of titanium and cermaic enhanced non stick coated. Pans are removable for easy cleaning. The tempered glass lid has a convenient easy-to-hold-and-place-knob and is also flat, making it easy to place upside-down to keep the tabletop clean.

Title: Great for Hot Pot for 2-4 people
Review: The Zojirushi Yin Yang Hot Pot is the perfect size for 2-4 people. The center divider allows for two different types of soup for the hot pot. The temperature control was easy to use and was able to bring the soup back up to boil in no time after we put in the ingredients. The pot was easy to clean after use.Unlike some reviews that the bottom of my pot is still looks new after use. Not sure why some reports that it turned black, maybe they use it on an open flame?Will try the grill when the weather is warmer so I can use it out door, don't want to set off the smoke detectors in the house..LOL

Title: Beautiful appliance!
Review: This arrived in time for Thanksgiving and worked like a charm!Came in a solid box and had no broken or missing parts.I gave this 4/5 due to the extra maintenance and care for this appliance.This can last a long time if you follow the care instructions.The hotpot deep-dish (the one with split soup) can be put on the gas stove if you want to precook, not the griddle.None of the parts are dishwasher-safe. Just stick to mild detergent. Nothing harsh, and keep all these parts as dry as possible.When you first buy this product, lightly wash the deep pan and griddle. Then turn on the hotpot with water inside so boiling could help further clean and eliminate the "new" smell.Read the instruction manual for free recipes!

Title: Only 1300 Wattage, Too Weak for Hotpot
Review: I have other cookwares by this brand, always love them. I really wished I could have kept this one, unfortunately I had to return it - it’s not 1500 W, it’s only 1300, not strong enough for even one person (I tried) , couldn’t keep slightest boiling once a piece of thin meat was dropped in. It’s beautifully built, I am not sure what they were thinking engineering only1300 W.

Review: Awesome electric skillet good for frying and hotpot! I was able to heat up my hotpot within 10-15min to full boil. Be careful about twisting the skillet with the electric stovetop as the stovetop skillet scratches easily. I was able to bring it camping and cabins. When the water boils even with food in the pot does not steam up the room! Overall very happy with my purchase. Only negative thing I can say about it is that it is a bit bigger then I expect.
