Title: Durable and bird approved.

Title: Best Hummingbird Feeder I've found
Review: There are several things that make this a superior hummingbird feeder. For starters, is the fact that the hummingbirds love it and the bees mostly leave it alone. The red base attracts the hummingbirds but, since it does not have the yellow flower-shaped decorations that some others have, the bees seem to mostly leave it alone. You do not need to color the sugar-water, the color of the base brings them in just fine (in fact putting food coloring in the sugar-water is generally considered to be a bad idea).Next is ease of cleaning. There are no small tubes to clean, so that is one big plus. The bottle part does need some kind of brush or swab (we use one that has a wire handle with a foam swab on the end). The base is very easy and can be cleaned with a cloth and maybe an old toothbrush.The bottle does take a steady hand, or a small funnel to fill it, but it's not really a problem. The base screws onto the bottle which holds everything together in a sturdy assembly. I have had other brands which just popped together, but those could come loose after a short time and started falling apart. This is not a problem with the "Birds Choice" feeder. It is sturdy enough that our Hairy and Downy Woodpeckers can actually hang onto the base (yes, woodpeckers like sugar water too LOL). Do learn from our mistake and bring in the feeders when it's going to freeze ... that's the only time we've ever had one break (though only one out of 3 broke ... so the glass bottles are pretty tough).We use the 8 oz size as we don't have so many hummingbirds that we need the larger size. If you live in an area where you get a LOT of hummingbirds, you may want the larger ones. It's the same base, just a larger bottle.Overall, this is the only hummingbird feeder I'll ever recommend.

Title: Great Quality and Perfect Size
Review: This pair of hummingbird feeders are high quality and easy-to-use. Some grooves in the base require a brush for proper cleaning. The size is perfect for holding plenty of food until time for cleaning, which should be every week or so. Highly recommended. I added an ant moat to keep those critters out.

Title: More practical than pretty
Review: I've been buying these for years. They fade after a year of full sun in places like New Mexico high-altitude desert, and the color lasts several years in less punishing climates. Easy to clean. I always have extras on hand so I can make sugar water all at once and I keep the extra bottles in the fridge, so it's simple to swap out fresh feeders. Each bottle holds 8 oz nectar, which equals one cup water + 1/4 cup sugar. No food coloring! You don't need to boil the water - the birds' beaks will contaminate it quickly anyway. You DO need to swap them out every few days once temps go over 80 degrees because the nectar ferments and will kill the birds or make them sick. Hummers prefer the feeders out in the open (vs in a tree) so they can see predators coming. But this means full sun. I'm now in the Boston area and got a nice 11.2 inch metal rain cover here on Amazon for about ten dollars. The latest two feeders I bought don't twist together interchangeably. This is a first, and annoying, but they don't leak and I won't remove star from my rating because they've been reliable for so many years and I'm loyal. There are prettier feeders on the market but in my opinion these are still the best.

Title: Probably the best hummer feeder out there!!
Review: Purchased for wife and her hum birds she loves them says they are the best ! Of course she drop feeder in the yard because the bracket, hook wire slipped of the top of bottle and bent the threads on the red feeder tray now it goes on lopsided looks like it’s been damaged but the hummingbirds are in love with these feeders can’t keep them filled 10 lbs of sugar a week with 4 of them running ! Easy of cleaning feeder tray has no o- rings to wear out 3 pieces that’s it ! Much still reach out to manufacturers for new parts !! Would do 5 star but room for improvement is needed !!

Title: Attracts Hummingbirds
Review: Bought these for my wife. We had a feeder and a lot of flowers that supposedly attract hummingbirds. She'd see a hummingbird on occasion going to the flowers. Hung up these two feeders with the sugar water mixture. The following day we kept seeing hummingbirds going to the feeders. They would perch on the feeder and drink. First time in all the years here that we've had the hummingbirds perch on anything.
