Title: Great book for beginners
Review: I got this book solely for the sections on energy efficiency and troubleshooting. THis is a good portion of the book and I am very happy with the book overall since I read it from cover to cover. The book introduces what HVAC is, its history, and how the systems are desgined. THen we get into the different options of systems you can go with. The section on energy efficiency touches on advancements that have been made in the industry and how renewable energy may fit into your picture. I found this section, in particular, educational and well written. The later sections look at troubleshooting things that can go wrong and they teach you how to fix it.

Review: This is a year round guideline for maintains, repairing and installing HVAC systems. There are weather symbols that are color-coded on each page which I found to be handy. The writing is in easy-to-understand terms not highly technical. This book is for both learning how to and using as a reference.

Review: My oldest son is getting into repairing and installing HVAC's systems and he could use this guide. He says the troubleshooting section has been very helpful, as well as other parts of this guide. It has step-by-step instructions on maintaining it as well as other important information. A good guidebook for homeowners or specialists.

Review: He writer definitely doesn't know what a "bible" means in regards of knowledge. There is zero information on even how to do regular maintenance. He only explains the system elements and some thermodynamics. Utterly a waste of money.

Review: I do not usually leave reviews but wanted to leave some feedback for anyone (like me) that is looking to install a residential HVAC system in their house but wanted some guidance ahead of arranging the work.This book is generic in the extreme, I read the first 30 pages and it hadnât provided anything more than explain what HVAC, which anyone that is actively purchasing a book on HVAC would already know. There is no true technical detail above base generic info, no drawings or schematics to explain system.The title of bible is very misleading, you would do better to read a couple of articles on the internet than read this book.
