Title: It has been riding around in the back of a car and works fine
Review: I did plug this in at home and test it out on my RAV4 Prime before it got tossed in another car to be used as a portable EV charger, and it worked great. It charged it in about 2.5 hours like it's supposed to and never got too hot. Obviously, it takes longer to charge a full EV than it does to charge a PHEV, but it does that just fine too.It comes with a bag. It's not too difficult to stuff it all in there. I tossed this in the back of the business car that I never drive. It's a BMW X5 XDrive50e that exists just to make me look more professional when I have to go meet with someone who expects me to not show up in jeans and a t-shirt while driving some random farm truck. I'm on the board of a couple companies so I have to look more like a professional and less like I live on a farm (which I do) occasionally. Anyway, this was put in the bag and tossed in the BMW.It has never been problematic when I do end up needing it. I never bother with delayed charging, since it gets charged at the office or at some random property that I own and not while sitting in my garage at night usually. Well, that and my electricity always costs the same. If I did have to use the delay feature, I think I'd get one with two buttons. It's not a big deal, but I prefer a dedicated button for delay instead of needing to use one button for everything.So, it works. It has sat in the back of that BMW on extremely hot days while I sit in meetings and doesn't seem to care.

Title: Works well
Review: This portable electric vehicle level 2 charger seems to be well made. The extension cable is the proper thickness. All connection and plugs secured properly. It is more expensive than others of the same quality so I would suggest to shop around before buying, but there is nothing wrong with this electric vehicle charger. It has only J1722 connector so if you want to charge Tesla you will need to get an adapter. Only time will tell how durable it is, but during the initial testing I got no issues with it so I will be recommending it.

The charger delivers a significant boost to charging speed, providing a substantial range increase in a relatively short time. The adjustable amperage settings and delay start timer offer flexibility and convenience for various charging scenarios. If you're on a road trip and level 2 plug ins are available, here's the solution.Safety is a top priority with this charger. It includes multiple protective features to prevent potential hazards, and the IP67 waterproof rating ensures it can withstand harsh weather conditions. I've already tested it in the, "not recommended lightning storm", on accident, and it worked fine. The large LCD screen and LED indicators provide clear and informative feedback on the charging process.It's worth noting that this charger is specifically designed for non-Tesla vehicles. If you own a Tesla like me, you'll need to use an adapter. While I haven't had it for more than a few weeks, my initial experience has been positive, and I'm confident in its durability and reliability so far. Very recommended from me.

Title: Excellent charger at a reasonable price
Review: I have always been leery about ordering a no-name EV charger - mostly I worry about cheap internal electronics causing a fire or damaging my battery. I tested this charger for several weeks - keeping tabs on the thermals of the charger with an IR thermometer. I have not noticed any heating that is out of spec with the charger I have that is direct from the manufacturer of my car. I feel confident this charger is safe and won't damage my vehicle.

Title: Good charger for my hybrid car
Review: The OEM charger for my hybrid car was priced at about $3,000. I wanted a charger that I could leave unattended when staying at airBNBs. This Tarnavo Portable Electric Vehicle Charger Level 2, 7.68KW Fast Charger sells for about 1/20th the price of the OEM charger.It does the job. In fact, the fully-charged mileage delivered by this charger appears to be better than the mileage delivered by the OEM charger. And recharge time is as good, or maybe a little better than the time required by the OEM charger.It has CE certification, but not UL certification.I bought a YOMILINK NEMA 6-50P to 14-50R EV Charger Adapter Cord to mate this charger with the 220v outlet in my garage.

Review: The charger looks beautiful and is easy to install. It supports level 2 fast charging and can also use ordinary sockets to achieve level 1 charging. There is a converter for ordinary sockets that can be brought with the car, so I can charge anywhere.I happen to have a 240v socket NEMA 14-50 specification for the dryer in my garage at home. I checked the distribution board and found that it is a 40A switch. I can use it directly by plugging it in, so that I can charge quickly when my car is parked in the garage.In addition, I can manually select the charging currentfrom 6/8/10/13/16/20/24 up to 32AIn addition, a more satisfactory function is that it can be charged on schedule, so that I can plug in the charger and choose to charge quickly at night when the electricity price is lower.It would be better if a NEMA 14-50 to NEMA 5-15 converter was randomly provided.

Review: I would have given it 5 stars but I had to leave 4 because the cord is just not long enough, unlike there other cables which are 4’ longer, they chose to make this model cable 4’ shorter. That’s why I had to give it 4 stars, otherwise charger works great.
