Summer had returned. The nightlife lit up the coastal town of Sea Breeze, Alabama, with scantily clad sun-kissed bodies, live music, the smell of fresh cooked seafood.

Taking it all in, he wondered if coming back had been the best thing. He wasn’t the same man who had driven out of town a year ago on the motorcycle he’d bought after his best friend’s wedding. From the messy blonde curls he’d let grow out, to the tattoos now covering his arms, part of his chest, and even the side of his neck, it all represented a part of his journey.

Eli Hardy was back, but he didn’t plan on staying for long.

Title: Best I've Ever Had - Great book!
Review: I love Abby Glines books they never disappoint. This was a great read.Eli Hardy is back and he has changed. He is not the same person who left Sea Breeze a year ago. He's back only because his Gran is sick. What happened to make him change so much?Ophelia didn't trust men and kept her heart locked up. When she walked into her brother's house they earned her that Eli was back and the situation was not good. When she first saw Eli she was shocked because he had changed so much he didn't even look like the old Eli. When she realized the tension in the house she offered him an out. When they both left the house Eli realized that he could breath and that Ophelia stopped the darkness from creeping back in. He needed to find a way to keep her by his side as she made everything better. How did Ophelia feel about Eli did she want to help or did she just want him to go away? This book was really good and really hard to put down.

Title: The very best
Review: In the prologue of Best I've Ever Had, Cruz Kerrington tells Eli Hardy "You need to go and live." Advice Eli takes to heart as he rides out of Sea Breeze without any specific intention to ever return.A year later, only because his Gran has cancer, Eli heeds the call to return home, but just one year has changed him so much that even his family and lifelong friends don't really understand who he's become. Some see the tatts that adorn his body. Some see the pain hidden behind his eyes, but none see the straight-laced good guy that left them a year before.Ophelia Finlay though, she sees it all, but unlike everyone else, she doesn't poke and prod him like he's some strange creature that washed up on the beach, she just accepts him, and Eli finds that more attractive than he'd ever expected to see in whatever might remain of his life.In many ways, that piece of advice from the prologue frames this entire book. Eli left thinking he'd been in love twice, but exploring the possibility that he'd never lived, and returns thinking he's done all of the loving, and living that he can bear in one lifetime. Fully believing that the light at the end of the tunnel has been turned off indefinitely.Where despair is a constant companion and hope seems the enemy, time, space, love, hard truths, and Ophelia Finlay (in no particular order) disabuse him of that notion in a story that intrigued, captivated and enthralled me before reducing me to a state where my whiskers tasted salty.Abbi Glines at her very best.

Title: Not horrible, not great
Review: To be completely honest, I was pretty disappointed with this book. I was super excited to *finally* get Eli Hardy's story after thinking we would see him get his happy ending in the first two book and then just not be the love interest. But I was left a little bit unhappy with his story. He changed completely after leaving Sea Breeze after Bliss and Nate's wedding, and went out to get life experience. He was a very different character than the Eli we saw in the first two books, and it was kind of a disappointing change.I also thought the story ended pretty suddenly, and I think there could have been a better resolution. With all of the books in the original series (both Sea Breeze and Rosemary Beach), the endings were strong and never felt rushed, and I didn't get that feeling with this book. It was still good to read and see Eli finally be happy(-ish), but it wasn't as enjoyable a read as I was expecting.

Title: Wow.
Review: This story tore at my heart. Real and beautiful. I rarely write reviews anymore, but this book is a must read. I have long been a fan of the Rosemary Beach series. This one is one of my all time favorites now. Seriously, stunning writing. Kuddos, Abbi Glines.

Title: Love these two
Review: This was such a good book. I loved that it wasn't wham bam, I'm in love and all that. There is pain, and also you see the love that was building throughout the story. Eli....this man is so complicated. He really makes TBE story. I live Ophelia also, but Eli has my heart. He has so much love to give but has given it to the wrong people, Ophelia makes him better. The chemistry is great, and you have to love the charactets.

Title: Another MUST READ!!
Review: WOW! Eli and Ophelia had a spark from the moment they met and their chemistry was undeniable, but their relationship began on their sheer physical attraction to one another. Each chapter revealed more and more about the tatted, brooding Eli Hardy that returned from his year away from Sea Breeze. There were so many emotions from both characters and why they were so reluctant to tear down those walls guarding their hearts. However it was never really revealed what brought them closer together other than their HOT,HOT, HOT SEX. The twist to Eli’s dark past was teased throughout the book leading up to an abrupt confrontation and what I feel was a rushed ending. As a huge fan of the Rosemary and Sea Breeze series, I am really loving these crossovers. Overall, another brilliant novel by Abbi!*I received an ARC (as well as purchased, because it's that good) in return for my honest review*

Review: That last scene sealed the deal for me in this book. Beautiful words between two crazy kids in love. How important love is and how sometimes you have to carry the love of your significant other when they aren’t able! Loved it!

Review: What do you get when there’s a cross over of the Sea Breeze and Rosemary Beach characters ?...... Well one he’ll of a love story which I thoroughly enjoyed . Eli Hardy had left after Nate & Bliss’s marriage only to return a year later when he discovered his Grandmother was terminally ill . Ophelia Finlay always had a soft spot for good guy Eli and when he returns a different man altogether she realises her interest in him remains the same . A lot has happened to Eli in the time he’s been away and although he doesn’t talk about it you know he’s going to have to face his demons in the end ........ will Ophelia & Eli have a happy ending ? .... if you’re familiar with Abby’s books you’ll know the answer to that . 😍😍

Review: This book reminded me a lot of Nate & Bliss’ book regarding the guys crazy ex & baby but I still loved it. I wish the ending had been more drawn out so we had more closure. I loved Ophelia throughout the entire book but I wish we had seen her find her passion or dream that she talked about missing at the beginning of the book. I was excited to see Eli’s book come out next after Lila Kate’s but the ending felt really abrupt compared to the other books. Still it was a classic Abbi Glines book which means it was well worth the buy.
