Title: Love this, perfect results every time
Review: This is my first compressor ice cream maker -- I have always used the hand crank or freeze the container versions. I cannot understand why I waited so long to get this! Yes, it is costly, but it has earned it's keep in just a month.The machine is quite intuitive. It comes with clear directions that my 10 year old was able to follow and make her first batch without my help (nor evidently . . . my permission . . . but I digress)This machine is quiet. Seriously -- the first time I heard it I checked to make sure it was really working. Such a change from the old frozen dish version I used to have!! It does have a large footprint, but it's smaller than my breadmaker because it is tall vs long. It fits on my shelf with no worries but if you have tight shelves you should measure. It is heavy so lifting it to the counter is a pain, but worth it.This machine is a workhorse -- there have been days we made four batches of ice cream, each following the last, with no issues. The icecream is consistent -- for example, one day we made strawberry, cherry, cheesecake and eggnog versions, and each batch was creamy and mostly solid despite having different recipes and ingredients. It has the consistency of firm soft serve and if you want it harder you can put it in your freezer, like we did.I do wish the container was larger, it would be great to make bigger batches of ice cream.The first time I used it I was surprised that the recipe only filled half the container, and was tempted to add more to make more . . . the instruction manual showed the mixture to the top of the paddles and mine was about half an inch below. I was glad I didn't. The icecream gets bigger with the addition of air and had it been more full it would have ran all over. Recipes that are pre-beat (like our cheesecake icecream) and don't rise can be fuller, but the ones that the machine is doing the majority of the work need the space.Lastly, this is super easy to clean. Just hand it to your 10 year old and tell her it needs cleaned before we can make another batch. A little soapy water is all it needs.Just love love love this ice cream maker. Any time you're forking out this much money for a machine you're bound to be nervous, but it's a complete win for us!

Title: It is working as expected, and all is so simple.
Review: Excellent product!I bought this for a birthday present. The 2 lb container volume. I set it on the counter, plugged it in, turned on, prepare the mixing by the recipe book from the device, pour it in, turned on. The device shown me 60 minutes to wait. In a few minutes the mixture changed its viscosity and texture, and you can see how it's transforming into ice cream. About 30 minutes in the process the motor stopped, yet the machine continue to do its job. It is programmed to do so. In 60 minutes I heard the 3 beeps and we opened it. The ice-cream was there to perfection. We all eat, we had guests. Guess what, in about 2 hours, we all wanted more. We quickly made another mixture, and while we played some card games the second batch was finalized, like even better.The machine is glorious. Silent, neat, elegant. It does the job so simple. It is no work. You can prepare your favorite ice-cream always, your favorite fruits. We tried berries and the texture and color and taste was exceptionally good. This is a great acquisition. I am very happy with it.

Title: Solid product, great quality, easy to use and clean
Review: Pros: Super easy to use with simple controls. Nice 2qt. capacity. Very easy to clean. Excellent quality, solid product. Fairly quiet.Cons: It's large and takes up a lot of space. Paddle is a thick plastic material which works fine, time will tell if it holds up long-term. The cost is on the high end, but you "get what you pay for". Accessories are all plastic and I am guessing they won't last as long as the ice cream maker.Pro or Con: Depending on what you like, when done, the bottom of the ice cream is pretty solid, whereas the top is more smooth and soft like a gelato. I pack it in quart containers and put it in the freezer for later use.Overall, I would recommend this to those that don't want to hassle with the pre-freezing of a container, or don't want to deal with the ice/salt of the classic ice cream makers. This device costs more because it has a compressor and does everything for you, except cook the mixture beforehand. I like it for the convenience. However, this device is large and takes a lot of counter space and/or storage space. Even so, I like the ice cream maker.Photos are of making malted cookie-dough with a vanilla base.Cheers

Title: Two great batches the first night!
Review: We do a lot of entertaining and I try to always offer homemade ice cream to guests.I have been using a “frozen bowl” mixer for small batches which works well, and a traditional ice and salt machine in the garage to do large batches, which also works well.BUT, the small batches are too small for dinner parties, and the bigger machine is a pain as I have to have a lot of ice and rock salt on hand at all times which is a real nuisance, plus the time spent monitoring progress, adding salt and ice etc for an hour in the garage (too messy for inside!).I just bought this Whitner machine for Thanksgiving when we will have 30 guests …I ran two test batches tonight and was very impressed! No hassle, automatic, no mess so it just sits on the kitchen counter and each batch took about 45 minutes.The compressor cools to -15F per the gauge which is downright impressive.The cleanup was very easy too.I’m very glad I bought this, even though I wish they had a gallon version!

Review: Le saco una estrella por el color, es horrendo pero a México llega solo este color en lugar del blanco.La máquina es muy buena, tamaño cómodo, ocupa un cuadrado de aprox. 26cm x 26cm y es muy simple para limpiar, se saca el cestito de acero y se lava facilmente.Las paletas podrían ser de acero también, no se porque las hicieron de plástico.Según la mezcla tienes helado entre 30min y 60min y el tamaño es para una o dos personas máximo.Muy recomendable.

Review: First time running for around 30 second than burning smell started with white smoke. Can not able to return as it's purchase in KSA, and use in Pakistan. Will try to repair the motor if possible otherwise wast of my money. Please never purchase again it's China made poor quality machine. I lost total amount as as feeling bad why I purchased Chinese machine. Once again I am informing all interested Think twice before you purchase poor quality Chinese ice cream machine, I was thinking it was American manufacturers but it's cheaper and cheating by manufacturer. Company website never mentioned that it's China made poor quality machine. I did mistake please don't purchase any Chinese manufacturers ice cream maker machine with American big brands.its cheating with your trust.

Review: This machine is great but I'm concerned about getting extra spare bowls / paddles in the future.Machine itself is QUIET, good size, fast. Easy to clean- no hard to clean places for cream to get stuck. If you want an ice cream maker in your life this is the best price to performance.Made a few batches in a row so far. Awesome for keto diets- Almond Milk + Skinny Syrup ftw.
