Title: Love this Ice Cream Maker
Review: After years of a handcrank ice cream maker, followed by several large bucket electric models i decided to buy this product as it seemed easy to use and a lot less hassle. Completely spot on. The machine came as advertised and I bought an additional replacement bowl in case we wanted 4 quarts instead of just 2 although 2 is plenty.First of all, this machine has very few working parts and is easy to put together and use. It's not overly large and can easily fit in a pantry as the bowl, lid etc. all fit together so no need to store separately. It sits easilly on the kitchen counter and is sturdy. the machine didn't move or creep which is something i was concerned about in buying this. It stayed right in one spot.I used a family recipe for the ice cream base, but the booklet that comes with the product has a lot of recipes in it and they look great. I'm going to try them. As for my batch, it came out perfect. I did freeze the bowl for almost 24 hours before starting the machine and I also started with very cold ice cream base. The bowl remained very cold throughout and even took almost the entire day to come back to room temp after the process was done and the ice cream was put in a container in the freezer. For those that are having issues with ice cream spilling over, whenever you make ice cream you have to leave room in the container for expansion. I left about an inch and a half or so from the top. This worked out perfect. I pressed the ice cream setting and away it went, added my fruit when there was about 5 minutes left (don't add it too early or the fruit will settle to the bottom.) By the time it had finished the ice cream had reached the top of the bowl but had not spread into the housing at all.The ice cream came out soft serve. It hardened up a bit after sitting overnight in the freezer. It's still not quite as hard as it would have been had I used the old fashioned bucket container with rocksalt and ice but it's firm enough and not soupy or soft serve. The texture is creamy and consistent through the whole batch.Cleanup is a snap seriously. You just rinse out the bowl, the lid and paddle and you're done.It is a bit noisy but all ice cream makers are. In my opinion this isn't a negative as it's common. The timer feature is nice, it counts down for you and has settings for gelato and sorbet as well.Overall great product. highly recommended.

Title: Love it!
Review: Easy, delicious homemade ice cream! We got the Cuisinart ICE-60W âfor our kidsâ for Christmas and LOVE it. We just made our second batch of ice cream and itâs amazing. Just lookup recipes online and youâll see that basic ice cream doesnât require too many ingredients so if youâre looking to avoid fillers, artificial flavors and colors, high fructose corn syrup, etc, then this is for you. Itâs relatively small - it will easily fit in a cabinet - and itâs easy to clean cause there are only a few parts. Having a small rubber spatula helps. And, itâs so much more affordable that some of the other makers out there.A word of caution... We opened the box on Christmas and of course wanted to use it right away, but it requires prep. We skipped steps and used the bowl before it was fully frozen, and our freezer wasnât even set to the ideal temp (0°F). The first batch wouldnât freeze and eventually it ended up icy, albeit the flavor was good. However, after turning the freezer temp down and allowing the bowl to freeze overnight we tried again today and it came out creamy and smooth. I immediately noticed the mixture thickening up and rising in volume; it almost overflowed the mixing bowl. The machine doesnât do the freezing. The bowl has a liquid inside that MUST fully freeze before use and this is what freezes the ice cream during mixing. Using an ice cream mix that youâve allowed to chill in the refrigerator first also really helps. All of this was in the instructions but, as mentioned, we skipped steps to make our first batch.Iâm really excited to make more ice cream and try different flavors. The vanilla mix tasted great. Our second batch was made with a raspberry purée which I strained to remove the seeds and is so delicious. I definitely recommend this little machine and am thinking of buying it for other family members.

Review: It may be too early to write a review of this machine since I have only made one batch of ice cream but...1. The ice cream was delicious. I had control over all the ingredients that went into the ice cream. The texture was amazing. I really prefer eating the ice cream right out of the machine instead of hardening it. It tastes amazing.2. The machine worked well. I would prefer to have a machine that had a built-in freezing unit instead of having to put the bowl in the freezer but the cost of such machines are significantly higher. there have been comments about the noise it makes. It is on the loud side but it is not excessive.I do not know about its durability yet but it does the job and makes a fantastic product.

Customers like the quality, ease of use, and performance of the ice cream maker. They mention it works great, is easy to clean, and produces great results. Some also like the speed. However, some customers have mixed opinions on the noise level, ice cream freezing ability, and value for money.
