Title: So worth the set-up time and effort!
Review: These were purchased to fit in the 16 quart Coleman hard-sided cooler. They fit perfectly. I put one on the bottom and one on top. I purchased the lunch sizes for the sides. Once the set-up is done, and they are frozen, they are easy to use and keep your cooler COLD! They work well!SET-UP: you have to fill them up with a specific amount of water. You need to use the funnel (comes with one) to fill them up. You should measure out the correct amount of water to fill them, but I have filled these in other sizes and once you've done it enough times you know about when to stop. If you aren't experienced with when to stop, then definitely measure out what you need so you have enough in there and don't overfill. Once they are filled with water, you squeeze a stopper in the top and close it tight all the way. The stopper can be difficult to push in, but make sure it's down as far as you can get it before trying to put on the cap. Then put them in the freezer FLAT. Unless you are looking to purposely shape them, keep them flat for best use once frozen. They were frozen by next morning and ready to go.USE: I put two of these and two lunch size in a hard-sided cooler and they kept the items cold for 36 hours. Impressive. They were about half to 2/3rds melted when I put them back in the freezer, flat again, and then next morning, again they were ready to use.TIPS:1. If you have an extra freezer in your basement or garage, I would keep these in various sizes in there for use in coolers. I also have the largest size that I put in a big Trader Joes soft sided cooler bag for car trips as well. I have packed groceries in and drove 7 hours and popped them in the fridge when got to destination and everything was fridge cold still.2. If you have a better funnel, use that. The one it comes with is small and flimsy, but works.PROS:THEY WORK!! Enough said! Worth the price - which is decent - and effort to set up! Save you money on purchasing food on the road. Have healthy foods from home without the restaurant, convenience store up charge!CONS:You have to put in a little work to get them "made" and they need to go into the freezer for 24 hours (will be ready in less if needed but plan on at least 24), so don't buy these last minute. Prepare for their use.They can take up room in your freezer and get in the way, so best if you have a separate extra freezer to store them in.

Title: Outstanding Ice pack. Saves space and mess. Keeps cooler cold longer than ice.
Review: It is important to follow the steps provided. Do not over-fill, and get the excess air out. Once the simple steps are followed, these packs rock. They take up so little space, and accomplish way more than regular ice. No mess, no draining, and very efficient performance. I have the cooler size, the large and the small. I mix and match then to achieve the best cold performance. My coolers are also much lighter now. If you are looking at cost, it is cheaper in the long run than buying ice all the time, and works better without the mess.

Title: Long lasting
Review: I bought the Cooler Shock Ice Packs to replace bulky ice packs we had from years ago that had a lot of condensation. The cooler shock packs is nice and compact. It lasted a long time. We took this on a trip where we had prepared cooked/perishable food in an insulated food bag. After driving a couple of hours in the sun, the ice was still frozen with minimal condensation. Would recommend.

Title: These are Awesome!
Review: I purchased these for my husband's work lunch box. He works construction, and typically leaves his lunch box in his work truck during the day. Prior to getting these, I would use regular ice packs and his drinks would end up warm by midday. Now, he's got drinks that stay cold the entire day, and the cheese on his sandwiches doesn't melt if it sits in the truck for a while during the hot summer months.Not only that, but they are very easy to fill - the freezer packs come flat, but include a funnel and instructions for how to fill up for the first time. Once you fill accordingly with water, you simply add the plug, screw on the cap, and pop them in the freezer for 24 hours before using.Overall very easy and they work great!

Title: The best ice packs ever!
Review: I was searching for gel ice packs when I came across this item on Amazon. They work so well! Stayed frozen all day. I love that I can store them elsewhere when I don’t need them. I simply put them in the freezer for a day or so to get them frozen & ready to place in my coolers. Such a great alternative to spending money on ice that melts and gets everything wet that you don’t want wet.

Review: Talk about an impressive product!! Stays cold for several days in moderate temperatures. Relatively thin so doesn't take up much room, and shape stays the same. This is really a great product. I'm so happy another ice product broke so we could get something much better. Bag seems very strong.

Review: First of all I'd like to say these keep my lunchbag cold almost all day. Ive come home to cold, not ice cold, but cold, after a good 16ish hours depending on ambient temperature. But to be fair I am talking about a 5pk in one flexible lunchbag in the style of a backpack. After a month or so I noticed that one of the icepacks tends to take longer to freeze than others. May be my fault though as I am not sure if filled the first bag correctly seeing as one has to fill the packs with water themselves. Fill once and freeze. That's all it takes.

Review: An und für sich eine gute Kühlleistung, allerdings ist einer der 4 Beutel ohne Gewalteinwirkung in der ersten Woche der Verwendung direkt unterhalb des Drehknaufs gerissen und damit unbrauchbar. Bei dem Preis meiner Meinung nach nicht akzeptabel. Mein Fazit daher: Grundsätzlich gut, aber scheinbar sehr fragil, womit es für den Einsatz in der Kühlbox in Anbetracht des Preises zu Riskant ist. Würde ich mit diesem Wissen nicht wieder kaufen.

Used 4 medium packs in a 26litre Coleman coolbox, and they kept everything cold for the full 4 days. Even on the 3rd day, the orange juice was almost colder than what comes out of our fridge!
