Title: Exceeded Expectations
Review: I've wanted an immersion blender for years and finally decided to go for it. I did my research and decided on the Vitamix. It has exceed my expectations and I'm very happy with my choice. The blender performs exactly as it does in the video provided (watch it!) and blends very smoothly and thoroughly. I've made a few smoothies (frozen banana, ice, berries, yogurt, spinach...even carrot and apple with the skin on). It came out great each time. I also made a pureed soup right in the pot which was extremely easy (see photo). The Vitamix churned through the cooked bacon, tomatoes, onions and carrots with ease and my pot was still pristine. You don't need to worry about anything damaging your pot. The sturdy black plastic portion surrounding the blades provides complete protection. Clean up is very simple. The lower blade portion twists off for rinsing. I like the fact that it's comprised of only two pieces. The motor is somewhat heavy, so if you are looking for a lightweight immersion blender this may not be right for you (if physically holding about two pounds is a challenge). However, the weight is well worth it for the powerful and efficient motor. The design was well thought out, it's user friendly, and it more than does the job. I personally didn't want any accessories (it doesn't come with any) and the clutter of additional pieces I may not use. If you have a wide mouth jar or glass (three inches or more) you're good to go. I highly recommend this Vitamix blender (and no...nobody asked me to say this...it's just really awesome).

Title: This is a well-built hefty mixer!
Review: If you have a deep mixing cup or bowl, you'll love this. You do have to keep your finger on the button to keep it on (wish it had a toggle off/on switch instead), but it works great! A little too large and heavy for me but if you want to whip something quick, it's a fantastic tool. It's easy to clean and store.

Title: Quiet and efficient!
Review: I totally love this hand blender, strong power and works fantastic! Use it mainly for smoothies using spinach, frozen and fresh fruit, yogurt and such. Blends up well and is so quiet and powerful. Don’t regret purchasing it at all, it’s an asset to my kitchen.

Title: Wow... This thing goes from 1 to 11!
Review: This is a very, VERY powerful wand mixer. It's a fairly heavy appliance, and the smooth surface makes gripping a little harder than it should be. Not a big deal, but something easy to address with a textures or grippy handle like on an Oxo good-grips product. The controls are easy to use and the display is bright and clear. There is a HUGE difference between the top speed (very very fast) and the next lower speed (only somewhat fast). It takes some getting used to.I'm overall very happy with this product. It's expensive, but worth it.

Title: Blending Made Easy: My New Kitchen Best Friend!
Review: I recently picked up the Vitamix Immersion Blender, and let me tell you, it has completely changed my cooking game! First off, it's super easy to use. Just plug it in, and you're ready to blend up soups, smoothies, and sauces right in the pot or bowl. No need to transfer hot liquids to a blender and then back again—what a mess! The stainless steel design feels sturdy, and the 18-inch length is perfect for getting to the bottom of larger containers without much effort. I love that it blends quickly and smoothly with no chunks left behind. Cleanup is a breeze too—all I have to do is rinse it off under the tap, and it’s ready for the next use.If you’re like me and want to make cooking easier but don’t want to spend hours cleaning up, this immersion blender is definitely worth the investment. It’s now my go-to kitchen gadget!

Title: Doesn't tip your drink!
Review: Another reviewer asked if this is worth 2 to 3 times what the kitchenaid sells for. I replaced my kitchenaid when it finally failed after years of service and I think it is. Heres why:1. This blender is more powerful - the suction is very strong2. This blender has 5 discrete blend modes and can work on low power. I generally always use 4 and 5 for my protein shake with ice. And the result is very smooth and creamy.3. The construction is more substantial and feels of better quality4. The spade has 4 points instead of 2 and it also includes a small 3D (depth) pair of edges to get down to the bottom of your drink. Finally, there is a design feature of this blender that I really like. The blend attachment is bottom heavy. This means that you can safely leave it in the cup as you are working and it does not spill or tip the drink! I really grew to dislike the top heavy construction on my old blender and when I first learned to use it I left the handle in and spilled a couple drinks leaving a messy cleanup. I really like that I can detach the blender and leave it on the counter as I work in the kitchen. If your using your hand blender every day, as I do, then it is worth the extra cost. One constructive criticism I have is that there are two many blend speed settings and the blender should "remember" the last setting. Since I almost always use 4, I'd love it if the blender stayed there. As such I have to press the speed select 4 or 5 times every time I use the blender. I'd be perfectly fine if the blender had 2-3 good speeds rather than many.

Review: First of all, I am a huge fan of vitamix. I have the ascent blender, the food processing attachment, aerator, and the various size jugs. While I use the blender for various jobs, it is quite big. I saw an ad for this immersion blender, I thought why not give it a go! We do have the kitchenaid stick blender as well and next to this, it’s like a not even on the same scale, not even close. If you have ever used a vitamix, you know it’s built to last a lifetime. It’s a brand you can trust. If you can’t see yourself splurging on the big blender, this is a VERY good alternative that does the job just as well! In seconds, it pulverizes ice to make the perfect consistency smoothies. No chunks! The design of the bottom ensures the liquid is sucked into the blade and not the blade sucked into the container. It has the perfect weight and is easy to hold in any size hand. Yes, one hand is all you need on the stick itself. It looks great in the kitchen, too! I’ve also ordered the food processing attachment and the whisk, and can’t wait to try them out. This will be our go to for single smoothies from now on. I highly recommend, especially if you can get it on sale! $119cad for this is unbelievably cheap for what you get. At 625watt power, you really cannot do better.

Review: I never knew I needed an immersion blender until I got this. This blender makes quick work of eggs and oil to make mayonnaise. I also use it when making pasta sauce to smooth out my whole tomatoes and other ingredients in to a smooth liquid. I was initially going to buy the whisk attachment as I wanted to use it to mix powdered hot chocolate, but the standard chopper head works just fine and completely emulsifies the powdered hot chocolate mix with hot water! No more powered clumps at the bottom of the cup 😁. When making mayonnaise I use a mason jar that is slightly bigger than the head of the blender so it will fit.

Review: Very impressed with the quality. Easy to use and works very well. I am retired and live/travel about in my Airstream and it does not use many watts for the 30 - 60 seconds of use (110v).
