Title: Powerful! Easy to Use
Review: Wow! I was impressed. I was used to a Bamex hand blender, it never had the power this one does. I didn't use it that often but even so, the motor began slowing. This one is in sharp contrast, in a good way. I wish I could find more uses for it as it is so effective & easy to use. It is so powerful that my holding hand tingled when using it on high.A great feature is the way it's put together. The handle separates perfectly from the blending stem thus making it super easy to clean. One can put the stem in water, not fearing to get water in the motor, unlike the Bamex I had. So easy to put together, take apart for easy cleaning. This is well-thought out machine & I think it is a super great tool to have. This is a nice metal stem so you will be able to use it safely in any warm/hot mixtures you may have- no plastic to leach into anything.Recommend without reservation.Edit: It's now nearly 2023 and this wonderful tool is still going strong. I had previously purchased 2 Proctor Silex, they did not last but a few years. Quality is worth getting!

Title: Four years on and it's still working well.
Review: I use this blender daily, often with ice, and after four years it's still sharp and running great. I'm very pleased. My previous (non-Braun) hand blender burned out in less than two years.

Title: Great immersion blender!
Review: I bought this immersion blender (on the recommendation of America's Test Kitchen in one of their "best of" segments) as an alternative to my mini Bullet blender. I was not disappointed! It is easy to use, has fewer parts to clean and keep track of than the Bullet, easy to clean and compact enough to store on my *very* limited counter space. And it comes with both a mixing "cup" (like a tall, fat tumbler) and a wire whip. I use it pretty much every day to make my "first meal" smoothie. I highly recommend!

Title: Wow!
Review: My ancient Cuisinart stick blender finally died. I bought this based on Americaâs Test Kitchenâs review. I did not want a ton of bells and whistles and this is perfect. 2 speeds and very powerful, and doesnât splash. Iâm also a fan of the detachable blender and whisk, and they clean up so much better than my oldie. Had I known what I was missing I would have traded up long ago. Go for it!3 Month Update: the suction is quite strong on this immersion blender. It broke the bottom of a borosilicate glass liter measuring cup. I donât remember leaving it in one place while blending, but I must have. I replaced the measuring cup with stainless steel. Also, the silicone covering on the handle/motor is comfortable, but very difficult to clean as it attracts dust, crumbs, oil etc. and you can only wipe it off. For those 2 reasons, I took off a star.

Title: Good for the price.
Review: I like the price, I like that it comes apart, I like that itâs easy to clean, and I like that it comes with accessories. I am not a cook, so thatâs about all I can say about it. However, I am very satisfied with it. As to how long it lasts only time will tell, given that Iâve only owned it for a few months.

Title: Great immersion blender
Review: I ordered this immersion blender based upon Americaâs Test Kitchenâs recommendation and I have been very happy. I like that there are no holes on the sides of the blade guard. My old immersion blender would shoot liquid everywhere if I accidentally tipped the side vents just a bit too far or if the mixer was lifted slightly too far. I have not had any similar results with the Braun immersion blender. The motor is strong and efficient. I used it to grind chunks of ham and Koji rice to make a pork garum. There was some liquid also involved, but the immersion blender puréed the meat and rice with surprising ease. I havenât used the whisk yet, but have no doubt it will work great.

Review: I purchased this mixer about ten months ago and first thing that impressed me was the build quality. The Braun MultiQuick 5 feels sturdy and well-crafted, giving me confidence in its durability. The design is sleek and ergonomic, making it comfortable to hold and control, even during extended blending sessions. One of the standout features of this hand blender is its exceptional power. The 700-watt motor delivers strong and consistent blending performance, effortlessly tackling everything from soft fruits to tough vegetables. I've used it to make silky smooth soups, creamy sauces, and even smoothies, and it performs flawlessly every time. The variable speed control is another great feature that allows me to adjust the blending speed according to the consistency I desire. Whether I need a quick pulse or a continuous blend, the MultiQuick 5 delivers with precision. However, since the mixer is pretty loose, I'd rather use a mixer instead. I the whisk part only twice.
