Title: This is a quality blender
Review: After buying a cheaper Chinese model, that wasn't as described and worked horribly, I decided to just bite the bullet and buy a good one. I know better and should have done that from the start. This Waring WSB40 immersion bender is a quality made, well put together and a reliable unit. Everything I hated about all the others I have used is not a problem with this one. It is exactly as described and works well. I would imagine it will last a long time. Therefore it justifies the money spent. Compared to all the others that might make it a year, if that, before falling apart. I wish it had a slightly slower speed for one recipe I do. But that is not a complaint. And I can still use it as is. I just felt I needed to add something to my wish list.

Title: Heavy duty blender
Review: This purchase is replacing a hand held Waring immersion blender that I have used for almost 20 years, which is still running, btw.This new blender is a beast, and built with quality. It is perfect for blending, mixing, puréeing, emulsifying, whipping and a lot of other things. This is a great tool to add to your kitchen.

Title: You get what you pay for!
Review: This thing is well built! I've been through 5 or 6 of the "knock off" brands putting them to work in a commercial kitchen, but this thing is durable, powerful and keeps up! If you're looking for an immersion blender that's a sturdy piece of machinery, you found it here... there's a reason it's a bit more than the other one's, you get what you pay for!

Title: You need to be tall and strong to use this
Review: I first tried this with edamame and tahini dip. It really didn’t chop up much. Then I tried it on a pot full of soup and I was shocked how quickly the job was done. My only problem is that I’m not tall and strong and it’s hard to use. Plus, you have to keep your hands on two buttons at the same time. I’ll keep putting my items in the sink to use this. But it is incredibly effective on soup.

Title: Bigger is not Better
Review: It is not a sturdy nor a strong product. Sure is heavy tho! It is supposed to be commercial or professional grade, but the little basic one we got at the store is higher quality. Had to work WAY too hard to purée what should be easy.

Title: Broke after 2 years
Review: For being professional grade, this stick blender only lasted me 2 years. It now makes a grotesque screeching noise when turned on. And it’s past the warranty. I use this pretty regularly, 2-4 times per week. So I guess that’s a fair amount. But still. I’m not using it on ice or anything that should be too taxing. The blade is still sharp with no dents or dings. Kind of expensive for how long it lasts. So loses 2 stars for those reasons.

Title: Impressive
Review: I bought this blender about a month ago and have used it quite a few times. Every time I have used it, it has never failed to impress. That machine effortlessly purees sauces and salad dressings. Just now made homemade mayonnaise lickety split, another victory in the corporate PUFA oil war!!! (Never going to buy Hellmans canola oil again). Its smooth and quiet action belies what a powerful motor it has. The open teeth on the blender (as opposed to those holes that catch and clog with fresh ingredients like herbs and garlic) were a big selling point. It is easy to clean - run under hot water and perhaps a spray - hooray stainless steel. The unit is pricey, but worth it. Hopefully this unit and I can be friends for many years to come. I love this machine so much that I felt compelled to write a review and share how much I am impressed with this.

Review: I tried reaching out to Amazon and the Manufacturer for product support numerous times but no help at all. The machine only worked for 6 months and broke . The manufacturer is not helping at all to fix it. Also bought extra insurance from Amazon and they are not helping as well.
