Title: Delicious but the value is questionable
Review: Iâm a big fan of these Indian-style lentils in a pouch. This style of packaging makes it extremely easy to prepare, a great option for a quick snack or part of a reasonably healthy lunch at work. I usually buy another brand but I decided to give these a shot. Iâm very glad I did, theyâre delicious! Theyâre excellent by themselves or over white rice. I like adding a bit of shredded cheese and a dollop of sour cream. Good with naan, regular bread, crackers, or chips. Iâm sure there are amazing things that one can do with these that I havenât considered. However, I donât think the value is there for the asking price. Other, nearly identical brands, widely available, are like half the price. So while they do the job of being a quick and tasty meal, I canât recommend these over alternatives.

Review: I'm usually middle of the road with this brand, BUT the flavors were totally on point for this daal(lentil dish). There is a nice smokey flavor that I was impressed with. There is a good amount of gravy, but if you go to any Indian restaurant and order a creamier daal, you'll get something just like this, and I often cook it like this myself, so I wasn't bothered by it. I buy a few packets now whenever I shop so I have something reliable when I don't want to cook.
