Title: Works great in the house
Review: I purchased two of them. We live in the Ozarks and this year the mosquitoes, gnats, flies, moths etc were out of control. I placed both of them in my house. They work great! They killed hundreds of insects each week. The insects seem to be attracted to the light, so the darker the room, the better they work. This seller was good to work with, no problems. Also each light has two replacement bulbs. Beware, it takes a little getting used to the zapping noise, pretty loud. But the payoff is worth it.

Title: Working precisely as expected, no issues, really helping with the bug issues.
Review: Okay, my wife loves guinea pigs. Good Lord, they're the messiest little animals on the planet and are absolutely a ton of work. They're cute but WOW! Just plain messy. They eat more than any animal their size I've ever seen, tons of fresh veggies, lots of fresh hay and there, a massive amount of waste. The physics of guinea pigs is not quite understood, how three pounds of foot can generate four pounds of waste. LOL! Just kidding. Well, maybe not! With fresh veggies comes phorid flies, often referred to fruit flies, and they're excellent fliers, super difficult to catch. This trap is going to be precisely what we need to wipe out these little pests. To help with the task, I welded up a stand for the zapper that is mounted to the rear of the piggies cage safe and secure, definitely not going anywhere. To better the odds, I will be making the brackets to secure to 4 inch computer fans to the back of the zapper, as these will draw the flies and really knock em for a loop!Note to Manufacturer:Alter the injection mold for the insect catch tray, adding a small thumb/finger hold. It would so much faster and easier to remove the tray if there was small handle or tab to grab onto.Of course, time will tell just how well this works long term, but my hopes are high.To increase the zapper's effectiveness, I've added two 4 inch fans on the back, 12 volt, via an aluminum plate with appropriately sized holes. This creates a nice shroud effect and causes a vacuum within the zapper, drawing in the bugs as they fly by. So, far, working well.To sit within the bottom catch tray, I made a small aluminum pan with a thumb sized handle. This can easily slide in and out of the lower portion of the zapper, sits atop the bug tray and within the little pan, a slice of banana draws the phorid and fruit flys in. You can also place a small amount of apple cider vinegar which lasts longer than fruit slices and the tangy aroma brings the fruit flies straight in.

Title: This thing is AMAZING!
Review: House flies that make contact with the charged grid give off a bright flash and loud pop. They are not always dead immediately, but neither are they flying around!I put this unit in my garage during fly season and went inside for a glass of water. By the time I came back outside, maybe 20 min later, it had attracted and ZAPPED more than 20 flies! We leave it on the kitchen counter behind the sink almost all of the time, and it makes me chuckle every time I hear Zzzzz-ZAP! (I guess you can tell I really don't like flies, esp'ly in my kitchen!)My neighbor breeds Golden Doodles and they use on in the kennel - highly effective! Their experience is what led me to purchase. This thing works! Be sure to get the one with the spare bulbs included.DEATH to flies!

Title: Works great, but LOUD!
Review: This product is fantastic for great rid of pests. But you will need ear plugs, because it sounds like firecrackers when it catches one. Scares the heck out of our dog.

Title: The best zapper ever!
Review: I recently bought this bug zapper, and it has been a game-changer, especially during the warmer months! This device is incredibly effective at keeping my home and outdoor areas free from annoying insects. The bug zapper is well-built and sturdy, with a sleek design that fits right in with my patio décor. Setting it up was straightforward—just plug it in, and it’s ready to go. I appreciate that it’s portable too, so I can easily move it between rooms or take it outside when we’re enjoying a barbecue or relaxing on the porch. What impressed me most is how powerful it is. The UV light attracts bugs like moths, mosquitoes, and flies, and the electric grid does the rest, eliminating them instantly. It covers a large area, so I’ve noticed a significant decrease in the number of bugs both indoors and outdoors.Despite its effectiveness, the zapper is surprisingly quiet. There’s a subtle zap when it catches a bug, but it’s not disruptive at all. It also comes with a removable tray that makes cleanup easy—just empty it out every few days, and you’re good to go.Another bonus is that it’s chemical-free, so I don’t have to worry about harmful sprays or fumes. It’s a safe, eco-friendly solution that works like a charm.Overall, this bug zapper has exceeded my expectations. It’s efficient, easy to use, and makes a noticeable difference in keeping our space comfortable and bug-free. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a reliable solution to pesky insects!
