Title: Finally - What I always expected but never got
Review: 2 second review:These are great inserts that are comfortable and provide great arch support. Get them!In Depth review:I suffer from some foot problems. Suffer is a strong word but pretty accurate. Details are here, or just jump to the next paragraph because you probably don't actually care about my feet.I have flat feet with barely any arch in them. I also have bunions which make my toes angle about 15 degrees inward (and judging by my father they will be at 45 degrees in the next 15 years). My flat feet creates adduction (rotating inward) in my step, worsening the bunion issue and increasing the tension in my feet. In any case, all these things make my feet hurt frequently. Not necessarily every day, and not necessarily "pain" where it is sharp an unbearable. Think what sore muscles feel like, as a deep inside dull pain - sometimes throbbing - and just constantly there. That is as close as I can describe it. So anyways - that is my situation.I have always looked at arch supports and cushioning to attempt to help with my situation. I have never been happy with any of the products or results. So I basically stopped looking figuring nothing off the shelf would ever help.My mom went to a podiatrist for some of her issues and she got inserts that cost $400 and even then she wasn't happy with them. I pretty much just gave up and accepted my lot in life.An extended family member mentioned she wore these and loved them, just in a passing comment, so I looked them up and decided to give them a try. Honestly, I bought a pair for my wife first since she works on her feet. When they arrived I looked at them and stood on them (without shoes) just to get an idea on what they are like. They seemed good, and my wife confirmed she liked them so I pulled the trigger and bought myself a pair.I have worn these for about a week now and love them. Are they the best thing out there? Probably not. Are they the solution for everybody? Probably not. But I do think they are probably the best over the counter item that you can buy and will probably help 90% of the people out there. All for a reasonable price.Support -These supports add a good amount of support, and hold my feet in a position that doesn't allow them to move in a way that will hurt my feet or ankles. They are very comfortable, and my lower back pain is lessened from the improved step.I would probably comment that I do feel them pressing on my arches, since I am flat footed. This can be uncomfortable after a while, but not worse than the typical foot pain I have without them, so the benefits far outweigh this issue. I would suspect if my arches were slightly higher (or the supports slightly lower) I wouldn't feel this at all.Sizing -I bought the Men's 10-10.5 sizing. I wear 10 or 10.5 depending on the cut of the shoe.Ironically, I just bought a paid of 11s just because the cut tapered in at the tip (which isn't good for my bunions) but in the 11 it fit well around my toes and the extra space in front doesn't alter my standing or stepping.The Pinnacles fit the size 11 shoes exactly.comparing the removed insoles to the Pinnacle they were a dead on match in size.That surprised me since I wouldn't have imagined that much extra material would be used, but at the end of the day it is a good thing, because they are pretty much guaranteed to fit your shoes - but also very likely you will need to trim them to fit.I will also comment that with the full length insert they recommend you remove the shoes existing insert first. This is a must as otherwise the shoe is too tight and cramped and just trades one problem for another. But actually replacing the insole is like converting your shoe into something new and better.I don't switch between shoes very often, but I can definitely see me buying a couple pairs of these and cutting them to fit ever shoe I own.It is well worth the investment.

Title: Perfect for me.
Review: My left heel began hurting so much that it would throb at night and I had to take Advil. I started googling what was making my heel hurt; I came to the conclusion that I need better arch support in my shoes (plus I am getting older, age 46, maybe not quite so old but I push mow a whole bunch in the summer). Anywho, after much research I decided to give these a try. When I first walked around with them in my shoes, I felt like the arch was too high. After a couple days I realized how good they made my feet feel and then the arch didn’t feel too high anymore. I guess I just didn’t have any arch support worth a hoot in my regular shoes compared to these insoles. After only a couple weeks, my left heel quit hurting. (I must add that I had also started doing some foot stretches, but I don’t do the foot stretches anymore and my heel still doesn’t hurt). The only downfall is that they’re kind of expensive. But sometimes you get what you pay for! If I was a rich girl LOL, I would buy a pair for every single pair of my shoes. Until then I will just continue taking them out and putting them in whatever pair of shoes I’m wearing for the day, which is very easy to do. These were def worth the money.

Title: A lot of arch support!
Review: I don't buy anything anymore without first checking the reviews here on Amazon. The reviews did not let me down. These REALLY saved me during a recent reinjury of Plantar Fasciitis in my left foot. While the arch support was just a little more than my foot needed, they did immediately take the pressure off and allow me to begin walking normally again. My arch is a normal height and feet are otherwise healthy. I really liked the extra padding in the Pinnacle. It makes them more comfortable to wear. The orthotic support is sandwiched between two layers of padding for that extra cushioning, unlike some of the other brands with only one layer of padding. They also seem to be VERY well made. This is why I gave them 5 stars. I highly recommend them!Note: These are designed for use in shoes with more room inside, like tennis shoes where you can loosen the laces a little if needed. You will want to remove the existing insole before putting the Pinnacles in. If you want a thinner pair for dress shoes or some casual shoes, Powerstep also makes an Original and a Slim Step 3/4 design that will fit shoes with less room inside.The powerstep Pinnacle was the right combination of orthotic support and padding to get me on my feet again. I'll retire these as soon as my foot heals and go back to regular insoles like the Spenco Polysorbs. I just bought a pair of the Walk/Runner for my tennis shoes and a pair of the Cross Trainer for my casual shoes. The Cross Trainer is thinner than the Walk/Runner and are easier to fit in casual shoes. Both Spenco insoles have some arch support, but are not orthotics and do not provide as much support as the Powerstep line.On the negative, the arch support in the Pinnacle Powerstep was just a little higher/more substantial than what I needed to properly fit my feet. On the positive, Not only did they immediately allow me to start walking again, the shape fit my shoes better than the Spencos do. If I ever hurt my foot again, I might try something different like the Spenco RX Orthotics instead. They say the Spencos can be molded to fit your feet which may solve my (very minor) arch support complaint. Since I haven't tried the Spenco Orthotics, I don't know if they would be better, the same or worse. I also don't know if the Spenco RX Orthotics are padded as well as the Powerstep Pinnacles. It's just when your foot hurts THAT BAD, you'll do ANYTHING to make it feel better.One big lesson I learned from this is to always have a good pair of insoles in my shoes when doing anything physical - and to replace them at least once a year. Shoes and insoles DO wear out. Your feet (at least my feet do) need the extra support & cushioning of a good pair of insoles. I hurt my foot while wearing an old pair of tennis shoes with worn out insoles that had no padding left. I believe that if I was wearing a recent pair of the Spenco insoles in those shoes, I would not have injured my foot.I know I'm reviewing a little more than just than just the Powerstep Pinacles here. Given the amount of pain associated with this type of injury, I though a bit of a conversation would be more productive. Good luck with your feet!

Title: Price keeps rising
Review: I love these inserts I've been using now for the past 3 years, I have to change out about every 6 months because of how bad my feet are but these have been a life savor, my feet don't hurt as much with the same pains. My only complaint is the price changes often, I started buying them at 25.96 now they are at 44.96 in the past 3 years that's a major price rise. Best inserts for now

Review: These inserts are amazingly comfortable, and provide the necessary arch support for the feet👣 I’ve used this brand of insert for over ten years. These inserts are super simple to install. Simply remove the factory inserts and put these new ones in. One of the best things I like about these inserts is that there is no squeezing whatsoever; an annoyance I’ve experienced with some of this brands competitors. I use these inserts for my cardio shoes, my everyday shoes, as well as my resistance training shoes. This product is highly recommended.
