Can I trim my insoles?
Because most of our styles are sized by full shoe sizes, our insoles offer a true-to-size fit without any trimming. However, should trimming be required, our products can be trimmed to fit as necessary.
When should I replace my insoles?
We recommend replacing your insoles about every 3-6 months depending on use.
Can PowerStep insoles be transferred from shoe to shoe?
Yes, the insoles can be easily removed and placed into a different pair of shoes. We recommend purchasing a pair of orthotics for each pair of shoes to help extend the product life.

Title: And the winner is...
Review: It's been tough reading through all of these reviews trying to make a solid choice for insoles. I had my 8th spinal surgery in April. I awoke with neuropathy so bad I couldn't walk. A high arch developed after two months post surgery. Doctors had nothing to help me and my condition was determined to be permanent. So I got to work. Supplements, pushing through the pain. I walked and walked and worked on projects even though I was almost totally disabled. Seven months later and I was just able to hunt. But, before I went my attention turned to insoles for relief. Could they make a difference in my pain and could I even be comfortable. The journey started.I've now bought; Birkenstock's, Power Step Pinnacle Maxx, Sof Soles Fit, Sole DK Response, Sole Softec Ultra, Forms, New Balance Stability and a couple of others that I don't remember. In order of relief (for me);1: Birkenstock Heeled Arch Supports (3/4 length). If you have a high arch as I do don't miss looking at these. They have superior support for the arch, heel (deepest heel cup) and metatarsal support is built right into the insole. They're especially useful in footwear without insoles. They work flawlessly in my Danner Rainforest hunting boots. Couldn't get any of the others to work in them. These can feel hard after a long day on them. Still, their fit is so worth it.2: Power Step Pinnacle Maxx. Put these in my Danner Radical 452 and it was a perfect match. I had to buy 2 sizes bigger to make sure my arch matched the Maxx's. I also wear these in my Clark's, Ahnu's, Merrill Jungle Mocs, Ecco's and MBT's. The Powerstep Pinnacle Maxx, overall, are my number one choice. Major relief from pain. Wonderful support and great cushioning.3: Sole Softec Ultra. Probably the best built of all of the insoles I've tried. No doubt, they'll last a long time. Not using these yet because I ordered my shoe size...wrong! I tried them in my proper size and the arches didn't line up. They were very uncomfortable. I'm awaiting a shipment two sizes larger than my shoe size. Then we'll see. For now my impression is they're not supportive enough. The heel and arch are made of a semi rigid EVA material. The only way they'll work is if I attach something under the arch to prop it up. The heat molding does little good if they're not high enough in the first place or if you need a more rigid support which I do. Well made but, so far, they don't work for me. This holds true for the DK Response too.4: Solf Sole Fit. Good firm arch support but the forward part of the insoles is a soft EVA foam only that, I believe will breakdown quickly. Already is for my wife in just several weeks.5: New Balance Stability. Everything was wrong about these for my feet. Not enough support in the heel or arch. The heel cup was thick yet not deep so they took up too much space in my shoes. They had a metatarsal pad built in but, for me, in the wrong place.6: Forms. They fit quite well, had a sturdy arch and heel cup but are surprisingly thick. Very well made though. Needed two sizes larger to get the arch to align. Opted not to go ahead with these when i found the Power Step Maxx.I'll be settling with the Power Step Pinnacle Maxx and the Birkenstock's. I also purchased the Power Step metatarsal pads and they too made a nice difference in the Maxx's. They're small but let me tell you, with proper positioning, they can have a very positive affect on how your feet feel.Good luck in your search. Don't be afraid to ignore the sizes and fit the insole to your arch. You may have to trim them but for me it was the difference between great relief or none at all.

Title: Best arch supports!
Review: These arch supports are amazing; give just the right amount of support, fit perfectly into my Hoka sneakers after removing the insole that comes in the shoe, and are comfortable. Great for people with plantar fasciitis or weak arches. I wear 7 1/2 shoe and got the womenâs 7-7 1/2..

Title: Finally found arch support for narrow women's feet!!
Review: These are honestly the best arch support (most accurate for me, high-medium arches, more on the high side) I've ever had in an insole. It's very hard to find insoles with a narrow heel, cushioning, and a wide enough forefoot as well.I have spent so long looking for insoles that have both a metatarsal pad, and good high arch support for my metatarsal swelling/inflammation (3rd metatarsal swelling under my right foot right below the toe).I have only tried walking on these for the last hour but it feels like both my feet are actually being supported in the correct shape! I am amazed.I have a relatively high arch with a narrow heel, and long toes that are quite wide compared to my heel, so my foot slides around in most cushioning/metatarsal insoles, and usually the arch is too far forward for my foot. This insole arch is further back than most insoles which is exactly what I've been looking for! Plus it still has some decent padding in the forefoot (although I'm planning on adding a metatarsal pad to it as well for my right foot) and is wide enough to include my toes in the forefoot. The material of the insoles and shape is very similar to these WAKI insoles, which have been very good for my metatarsal foot and have medium arch support Orthotics Insoles/Inserts/Pads with Arch Supports for Flat Feet,Plantar Fasciitis,Feet Pain,Pronation,Heel Pain for Men and Women Shoes (US Men 7-7 1/2-Women 9-9 1/2 (10.25")(260MM)) but had a more gradual arch and less of a heel cup. However the WAKI insoles are a bit too narrow for the forefoot and I cannot wear those insoles on my left foot, since I don't have a metatarsal issue with them. They are surprisingly similar in general shape and material as these Powerstep insoles (and quite a bit cheaper). But the wider insoles of the Powerstep are definitely worth it, especially if you don't need a metatarsal pad. Even without a metatarsal pad in the Powerstep insoles, I'm surprised by just how much cushion there is in the forefoot. I think the 3/4th drop also helps with cushioning. Now I can actually have the same types of insoles in both feet! I will see how the Powerstep metatarsal relief pads work on these as well. I may or may not need to use them for these insoles.Pros:high arch support!!arch support further back than most insoles and not as gradual (better for my feet with high arches and long toes)cushioned and wide enough forefoot areanice heel cup to keep narrow heel in placerigid enough to keep my foot in place but not painful - the arch is the most rigid part.Cons - Sizing:I bought these for size 9 shoes and they fit perfectly in them (but I'm not sure about the sizing of the shoes, so keep that in mind). But if you have a 9.5 shoe size, you may want to order a size up. They seem to run slightly small but fit perfectly for me.

Title: Excellent Product but Pricey
Review: My feet pronate in and my arches are basically flat. This product was introduced to me several years ago and I use it faithfully In my workout shoes. It helps fight the overpronation. I replace it annually and keep an eye out for a sale as it is quite pricey. I reduced one star because of this. Overall, the product is well-made and fits in my shoes without having to cut it to adjust. I never even know itâs there. It doesnât flop out when I take off my shoes and is sturdy and comfortable with no sharp edges. I will absolutely purchase again.

Title: Husbandâs favorite; now has 3 pairs.
Review: My husband walks on concrete at work every day and has done so for 45+ years. He has tried so many brands but says these are the best and most comforting. He now has 3 pairs so that he doesn't have to swap them out as often. They are really well constructed and remain in place.

Title: Plantar fasciitis relief
Review: I cannot recommend these PowerStep pinnacle maxx shoe inserts enough! they are excellent at providing plantar fasciitis relief and work great for people who overpronate. The arch support is pretty high and stays firm for a really long time. because of the arches being so high, you just need to make sure that the shoes your planning to wear them with will accommodate orthotic inserts. They will not fit in any shoe. The fit is true to size and can easily be trimmed a little if you need to.
