Title: Lots of Great Recipes!
Review: I especially like the "cooking times" list toward the back that gives guidance if you are cooking an item or several not combined in recipes in the book. Helped me figure out cooking times for some ethnic recipes (e.g. Polish "kapusta" made with country-style pork ribs, raw cabbage, sauerkraut and onions, which takes 3+ hours on the stove and a little over an hour in the instant pot.) And the Recipe Index in the back is very helpful in conjunction with the Contents in the front.

Title: Great recipes, wish there was more info
Review: I love cooking and am always looking for new cookbooks to give me more inspiration. And I LOVE my pressure cooker. I use it at least once a week, if not more often, and have felt my tried and true recipes are getting old. I needed new ideas so was thrilled to try this cookbook out. The recipes are easy to follow, well written, and I didn't notice grammatical or mechanics errors. For nearly every recipe, the ingredients were things that are simple to find (even in these tough times of COVID shortages) or items I already had on hand in my home. And the few I have tried so far have been great. The kids have eaten them (2 of my 3 are extremely picky eaters, so finding things they like is near impossible most nights) and my husband has plenty of leftovers for work the next day.The only downfalls that I saw with this cookbook....- The intro says there are 800 recipes in the collection, but some are simple things like making hardboiled eggs, which I do not consider a "recipe" in any way. Others are repeated. I saw a few recipes that were in multiple sections of the book. The recipes are all numbered (so number 800 is Caramel-Walnut Brownies), so I didn't have to sit and count the recipes to determine how many there were, but with the repeats, there are not 800.- Being a Kindle edition, there were no pictures included. So much of what we do in today's world is visually based. I find it inspiring to see what the final outcome should look like. I realize that there is no way to include a picture for EVERY recipe, but I do appreciate having some visual appeal to cookbooks for inspiration, guidance, and to break up the overall white space on each page. I have seen other Kindle books where there are images included, but am not sure how much it adds to the overall file size and if that was the reason images were left out, or if they simply were not taken.- Creator credits - I did not see any indication of who created the recipes. I always assume the author of the book who compiled it was the person who created the recipes, but there is not indication in this collection as to whether the author created them or simply compiled a group of favorite recipes that were then converted to insta-pot recipes.- Nutritional information was not included. Being one who is trying to be more health conscious and who has a teenager who is learning how to cook healthy meals for himself as he prepares for life on his own soon, we go over the nutritional information in most recipes. I would have liked to have known the calories, carbs, etc. per portion. It tells you how many servings the recipe gives you, but nothing more. I would appreciate seeing full nutritional values so that I can better determine what to make for my family or where I might feel it best to substitute something else. There are plenty of apps that can give you full nutrional information if you input your recipe, so though it might have taken a little more work from the author, it would have made for a much more informative, beneficial cookbook overall. But overall this is a nice collection of recipes that can be used with any pressure cooker. Though it is written specifically for Insta-pot users, I have had no problem figuring out how to use them with my off brand pressure cooker and have found success. Definitely a good starting point for someone new to pressure cooking.I would have given this a 5 star rating had there been just a little more information.

Title: INSTANT POT RECIPES
Review: The Ultimate Instant Pot Cookbook contains hundreds of recipes, from basic and simple to more complex dishes, but still easy-to-prepare dishes, all using an instant pot. The chapters are broken down into categories:Basic and SimpleBreakfast & BrunchBeans & GrainsPasta & RiceFish & SeafoodPoultryPorkBeef & LambVegetarian & VeganSoups, Stews & ChilisSide DishesSnack & AppetizersDessertsMy Instant Pot FavoritesIt also has Instant Pot cooking times and a recipe index. The recipes list all the ingredients, the number of servings (which seems to be 4-6 on average), and Directions. What I like is that the recipes are REAL INGREDIENTS, not hard to find things, and there is something for everyone. The downside, which is just my personal preference, is that it contains no pictures of recipes. For the cost of $10, it is a bargain and worth it--even without pictures that would have driven up the cost of the book.

Title: Great simple and creative recipes for my new appliance.
Review: I bought an Instapot several months ago, but I didn't really know "how" to use it. This cookbook is great because it has so many different kinds of recipes that allow the cook to put together simple ingredients and finish cooking them in 30 to 60 minutes. This is a boon for anyone who works, but wants to know and control the quality of what they are eating. No more standing in the kitchen minding a pot on and off for hours, stirring, etc. Just put your ingredients in, select the right program (i.e., rice, beans, etc.) and go. It's done by the time you finish the rest of the meal by making a salad or other starter. Shipped quickly, was well packed, and is as described. Big enough print that I don't have to squint to read it. Highly recommend.

Review: This is a great resource with a great many interesting recipes which are from both sides of the pond — the more North American ones can easily be converted into British with a little tweaking; conversions are easy to do these days with a bit of help from a chart, and most recipes fit well into the smallest (3L) instantpot. I gave it a five-star rating because 4.5 wasn’t available. The thing that would make it truly 5 star is a real index, not a list of titles at the end of the book (basically the same as the listing at the front except jumbled up). Most recipe books have an index by ingredients, ie. Chicken, peaches, buttermilk, etc. This ‘index’ works best if you are looking up words like zesty, yummy, dad, best ever, etc. Which is hardly any help if one is looking for a recipe to go with ingredients left in the fridge.I think this index has been done by computer, not by a human who really thought about how other humans use indexes to search for information.
