Now with Apple Pencil support, the Apple 9.7" iPad allows you to take full advantage of the multi-touch Retina Display. Draw pictures, jot down notes, and sign documents with the Apple Pencil (sold separately). The iPad also has an A10 Fusion chip, which is powerful enough to run augmented reality (AR) apps. Combined with enhanced cameras and advanced sensors, including a gyroscope and accelerator for accurate motion tracking, the iPad delivers an immersive AR experience.
The iPad features a 9.7" Retina Display that has a 2048 x 1536 resolution, resulting in 264 ppi - over 3.1 million pixels. The display also has multi-touch support.
At just one pound and 7.5mm thin, the iPad features an aluminum unibody construction that delivers a solid feel. There is also a front 1.2MP FaceTime HD camera and a rear 8MP camera that can record 1080p video.
With support for 802.11ac Wi-Fi, the iPad supports both 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz frequency bands.

Title: My 3 year old loves this iPad
Review: Ipad takes a bit long to charge but once at 100%, it takes days to die. Screen quality is great, set up was very easy, no scratches, everything works great. My toddler uses this iPad and loves it.

Review: While this definitely can do everything some of the newer Ipads do - I bought it for my 9 year old daughter for games since it’s a bit older and cheaper. It works just as well as my newer one though. Games, facebook messenger, and she even uses procreate with it.

Title: just recieved 4 hr ago....
Review: Came well packed in foam sleeves & in non-moveable tightly packed cardboard packing. Tablet looked like new from the factory, no scratch's, smudges or dents. Just perfect as one would expect buying a new unit.Battery came at 78% at 1pm. At 6pm still had 51% while putting it through setup pace's & all the configuring. So battery is looking good. 5 hr = 20-25% loss during heavy use. Guessing at a full day of use (8 hr) or more.However,...being it is the same plug on my iPhone & iMac, I plugged it into my 2022 iMac's multi usb port & it did not charge at all. Display showed "not charging". Don't know what's happening there but used the charger that came with it & plugged into the wall....display showed "charging". Nice. 👍I don't have a single complaint to speak of with this purchase. Even came a day earlier than projected.Don't know where all the bad review's are coming from. Perhaps a Mon or Fri unit they bought?Now I get to watch NFL football on this instead of a 4" phone screen.Life is good again. Will update in a few months.Next day...as a test, left it unplugged from charger after it was charged to 100%. After 21 hr's battery was still at 90% so I'm happy & have no complaints.

Title: Two renewed units received in very good condition.
Review: Forced by a software update to change from Samsung Galaxy Tab 6S Android tablets to iPads, I bought two of these renewed 5th Gen units as a test platform. They were shipped well packaged, and looked very close to new. All went well with configuration and initial use, except the fact that daylight readability was near non-existent, which is where the 6S units excel. With matte screen covers, these 5th Gen iPad are now daylight usable, although not near as good as the 6S'.
