Title: Why did it take me so long???
Review: If you use your phone a lot and especially use it while charging this by far is the best design. Every single charging cable that I have bought over the years has broken during heavy usage while charging near the port. With this clever design I no longer have to worry about it. The cord length, flexibility and the color are all perfect. The charging speed is right on target. I am happy to have finally found this design, it’s genius.

Title: To be detected or not to be detected
Review: I love the length of the cords and the side plug that keeps from bending the cord. It works well in my bedroom and in one vehicle. However in my newer car it says device not detected. It still charges but extremely slow. In other places it works very well. Not sure why the car is different.

Title: I'm happy with my purchase, they work as advertised.
Review: I'm happy, I got them for the car, so I hope they last longer than the previous ones. To be fare, my previous ones didn't have the 90-degree bend either (and they were from a different seller.) A couple of my daughters will be driving soon, so I try to set a good example, and not use or pick up my phone while driving. I do wish they would have had a 3ft option available also, but I just used the attached Velcro cord wrap to make it a little shorter. Apparently, along with apples announcement that they were going to get rid of the lightning cable, they (apple I assume) wrote their next update to no longer be compatible with certain cords (anything not directly through them). So I went from loving this cord, to it not working to charge my phone at all, it would work with apple play, and every feature it entails, but it wouldn’t charge. So needless to say, after using GPS for fall break travels, I have to bring another device to charge my phone, which if known ahead of time for planning, it wouldn’t be such a big deal. However the cord went from working for everything, to suddenly not charging. However there is hope, the most recent update apple has “done” seems to have fixed it, somewhere around 16.7 update wise. Just putting it out there for those who don’t update or can’t update.
