Title: Wow! Fastest press of any iron I've ever owned
Review: I can press a deeply wrinkled tea towel perfectly smooth in about 15-20 seconds. What will I do with all of the extra time I used to spend ironing? The iron is very lightweight so I was skeptical when I unpackaged it, but it has lived up to its claim of powerful steam. The surface coating of durilium is high quality for a fast glide. I'm impressed. Recommend this highly.

Title: Great Iron!
Review: I researched irons extensively before I bought the T-Fal Express Steam +. It’s super easy to fill, unlike some irons with a small water inlet, you can do it right from the sink and the manufacturer recommends NOT using distilled water as I’m used to, but states the iron operates better with tap water. It has a calc cleaning process that eliminates scale if used monthly according to the manual. The iron heats very quickly, makes loads of steam and if used properly, doesn’t leak or spit water. Dress shirts appear starched, even when you don’t use starch because the iron presses that well. The turbo steam button puts out very strong bursts of steam if needed. The sole plate really is made to glide smoothly and easily over the fabric and it does. The only thing I wish was different was the instructions on the steam function. There is a toggle switch that appears to have three settings: steam , no steam, and a third option which appears to be a setting for “extra steam” according to the manual. The problem is you cannot switch the toggle to that extra steam setting, you can slide the toggle over and then it slides back if you release. I thought I had a malfunctioning unit because of this. The problem is if you want to choose that option, you have to hold your thumb on the toggle switch while ironing. Not a big issue but it would have been better to just be able to leave the toggle on that setting. All in all, that is a minor quibble as this iron is amazing and a great bang for your buck at a very reasonable priced compared to the expensive irons on the market. Can’t go wrong.

Title: Great Iron for the Price
Review: This is my second T-Fal iron. I like the non-stick face-plate. The steam function works well too. Moreover being able to use tap water to fill it is a big plus as my irons in the past required distilled water. The only issue I have with this iron is that that the dial used to set the ironing temperature is located underneath the handle and is a bit hard to turn. Otherwise, I'm enjoying a heavy iron that glides along items I'm ironing making my job easy. Another concern is that the directions were not useable--pictures could not spell out directions without text.

Title: Great steam iron with bad user instructions but check T Fal website!
Review: I have a really old T-Fal steam iron that still works, but it got dropped and the water tank cracked. The tank got repaired with super glue, but I felt it was time for a new iron and bought the T-Fal Ultraglide Plus. It is a heavy iron, but it does what it promises to do. I also had a bit of condensation and water drops in the tank, but the box flap said that was because they test the iron at the factory. This iron was not built to be completely empty of water that was put into it, so this is just like my other T-Fal. While I like the color and the features of this iron, I don't like the instruction manual nor the absence of a water cup. I still have my cup from my last iron,so I am set. But I know that doesn't help first time users. The instruction or user manual to me is worthless. I have had a picture only user manual for my other T-Fal iron, but that one was really easy to understand and read. This one with the new iron is hard to see what is what and the pictures do not make sense. But what I found is if you go to the T-Fal website (T-FalUSA.com, and look under this iron model, you will find all the safety and how to use instructions. They have a detailed FAQ lists, and these are simple to understand!)

Title: Gets hot enough to easily iron linen
Review: I bought this yesterday and received this afternoon, after much research. I had purchased a black/decker iron a few months ago and it doesn't get hot enough to iron linen. I needed something that gets very hot and I didn't want to spend a lot. It was between this and the Chi steam iron that is more expensive and has some wear issues in reviews. I didn't realize how many linen shirts I have and they were piling up. This evening, I ironed 9 shirts in a short time and they are as good as those I ended up taking to the cleaners. It's fast and easy. I totally recommend it.

Title: Good capacity for water
Review: The Iron is heavier than my old one and it does not have the selection of fabrics. The capacity of the water reservoir is bigger for obvious reasons. The dial is not in a good location. BUT, it irons like a dream. My clothes look better and smoother than any other Iron I have used.

Review: The reviews say that the iron is delivered used. I placed an order in February, the iron had condensation and drops inside, but it was perfectly packaged, like new! Maybe this is a check at the factory when it is released? I gave it a try and it turned out to be very good quality! Performs all the functions described, smoothes perfectly, vertical and horizontal steam, does not heat up if left on for more than 10 minutes. In general, I recommend it!
