How to Iron

Step 1 - Turn it On

Once plugged in, you will see a thin line of light at the bottom of your LED screen. Lightly tap the power button and watch your device scroll through six fabric specific heat settings.

Step 2 - Choose your Fabric

Check your garment’s tag to see what fabric you are working with and then tap the fabric-setting button on the side of the device until you land on your desired setting.

Step 3 - Take a Moment

It’s getting hot in here. Your desired fabric setting will blink until it has reached the appropriate temperature and you are ready to Nori.

Step 4 - Now, you Nori

Position your garment on a hanger or lay it on a flat surface. Place your garment in between the two heated plates, apply pressure and drag slowly. The slower you press, the less swipes your garment will require.

How to Steam

Step 1

Open the fill hole on the back of the device and fill with our fabric facial or tap water.

Step 2

Tap the steam button on the side of the device and wait for the icon to stop blinking.

Step 3

Point the tip of the device to the sky and begin steaming or pressing with steam.

Step 4

When a water droplet icon appears on the LED screen, you need to refill.

Title: An absolute game-changer!
Review: I’d never used an iron or a steamer before the Nori - they all seemed bulky, confusing, and too complicated to figure out, and I was scared of messing up my clothing. When I saw this, I knew I had to try it. It’s incredible! It’s easy to use, unbelievably effective, and travel-friendly. I bring it with me whenever I’m away and it barely takes up any space. It’s also quick to use, which is nice. It heats up and steams almost immediately, and ironing a button-down shirt takes two minutes, max. You don’t need to iron on a flat surface either - I hang my shirts off the back of a chair or door when using and it works perfectly. I wish you could use the steamer by itself for fabrics that aren’t one of the six presets, but if you set the fabric to “poly” it will be fine. The output and iron quality is also incredible - my clothing looks fabulous afterward! I know it’s expensive, but it’s a worthwhile investment.Beware: the steamer will spit out hot water here and there. Not sure if this is a typical side effect or if it’s just mine, but keep it at arm’s length when using, or the water will spit on to you and ouch

Title: Best steamer and portable Iron ever - genius product!!
Review: The NORI press is a genius product that I now don't know what I did without. Living in a small apartment, this is the perfect device for all my steaming and ironing needs. It is compact and easy to store but works better than any steamer or iron I've used before. It is so easy to use and the design enables me to reach every wrinkle and crease in my clothes with no problem at all. I've used my NORI on blouses, slip dresses and skirts, jeans and even my bedding. It is gentle yet effective and I love the various settings for different uses. It heats up and cools off quickly and is such a chic looking device! Obsessed and can't say enough good things about this product.

Title: Great for small jobs and travel!
Review: I hate ironing and I was so excited to try this new tool to make my life a little easier. I love that I can use it without needing to get out an ironing board, and it’s as easy to use as a hair straightener. I found it easier to use on my jeans than on fabric with a lot of stretch.

Review: Good size hand held clothing steamer. Reminds me of a large hair straightener. Nice quality and comes nicely packaged. It heats up quickly and works well. You can see photo of one side then the other after steaming.Not too heavy but definitely feels sturdy in your hand.Only takes a tiny bit of water although they do recommend using their product to fill it. I would recommend this if you wish you always had a straightener that you can use on clothing! I definitely see myself using this again and again.

Title: Great idea, lousy execution
Review: I saw a video for this product by happenstance while perusing Amazon - my favorite pastime - and was intrigued. I watched the product video and then called Jake, who does his own ironing because he truly finds ironing relaxing. But sometimes he’s in a hurry or doesn’t want to bother with getting out the ironing board.We watched the other videos, and each and everyone seemed to handle this steamer perfectly. Plus all the reviews were great.But still, I waited a few weeks before finally caving in and ordering it. It came today and we were so excited - don’t know about offspring Jake, but I was wondering if I was being inhabited by the spirit of a 1950s housewife, I was so excited.Jake is traveling in two days for training, so he is getting his clothes ready and he got his shirts out, because what a perfect item to begin with.That’s when I began to realize that my short-term, long-distance relationship with this steamer-iron was infatuation, not true love. This was my first time at being taken in by emotions over a web-based relationship.Meeting in person took away all the glamour and mystery.My first clue was that the very first instruction is “Start by laying your garments on a flat surface - it’s easier for maneuvering. And the product page states SAVE SPACE NO IRONING BOARD REQUIRED. And NO CLUNKY IRONING BOARD REQUIRED.There’s a problem though. I can’t use my table, because that’s where we eat; end tables are too small. And the floor is too low - not to mention hard on the knees.A flat surface, a flat surface, hmmmmm - I KNOW! An ironing board! But - I’m not supposed to have to use one. And besides, all the videos, save for one, show the person ironing while the garment is hanging up.Okay, that’s what we’ll do. We have one of those portable racks for drying clothes in the sunshine or in the house. If you use one, make sure you put a carpet down first as the steamer will spit on your floor.The rest of the instructions, and I use that term very loosely, and really worthless. Very cute written copy, but it’s cute at the expense of information.So we drag it out and we get started.Now watch the video.It’s dangerous. To use the buttons and keep re-filling it with water and to keep turning it - the fingers get way too close to the plates for safety and comfort.It’s just way too much trouble and doesn’t really do a good job.Those videos we watched? Don’t know what those people are doing that we couldn’t figure out how to do, but I feel cheated.Towards the end I used my 5-year-old $20 steamer to show that it does a far superior job to this Much easier to use as well.Returning this.And it’s back to the old drawing board. Er, ironing board.NOT recommended.Oh - and speaking of cute - NORI - IRON - palindrome….

Review: Bought for a trip. Hard to use since you had to put the garmet between. Reminds me of hair straighter small sections. Challenging on adults cloths. Worked well once I got the hang f it. No leaks, heat was accurate. Having a longer cord helped.

Title: Too heavy to use effectively
Review: It is called a Travel Iron, but it's much too large and much too heavy for travel. Also hard to maneuver with one hand. Works fine on lightweight fabrics, but fairly useless for wrinkled sheets and thicker linens, which is what I needed it for. Think I'll return it.Also has no on/off switch. Plug it in and it's on. That's unsafe IMO, even tho "it will turn itself off in 10 minutes." Let's hope no fire starts, and no child touches it, should you forget to unplug it.
