Review: I received this cookbook as a Christmas gift and I am loving it.Having spent a great deal of time in Italy and in Italian home kitchens, I know the authenticity of the recipes in this book.In Italy the simpler the preparation and ingredients the happier the family feels.In a lot of the recipes, David has pared down the number of Ingredients and uses pantry items that nearly all of us have in our kitchen stash.Good for me when I feed my Italian partner 7 days a week. Some great and authentic basic recipes that once mastered can feed any hungry Italian food lover. 5 stars for its recipes and the beautiful photography.
