Title: Great for journaling and light sketching
Review: I've been trying to get into journaling for a few years. I started typing my thoughts, feelings, etc into an online journal but it didn't feel as therapeutic as I'd hoped. After reading a few reviews I settled on this CAGIE Lined Journal Notebook A5 to handwrite what I'm thinking. I got the journal at the beginning of the year and I have journaled every day since. I write with a fountain pen which, depending on how depleted the pen is with ink, could mean a very wet write or a fairly dry-ish ballpoint like write. This journal paper has handled everything extremely well. The ink has not bled through at all and the paper offers a very smooth surface for the fountain pen. I sometimes add a sketch to my journal including value shading and the paper handles that with ease. My only wish is that the lines on the paper were fainter which would make the sketching look better...but this isn't a sketching journal so that's forgivable. The binding on the journal appears to be hardy and I have not noticed any issues there. Overall, I highly recommend this for new or seasoned journalists that use fountain or ballpoint pens.

Review: I really love this journal! The textured cover gives it a nice, premium feel, and the size of the lines on the paper is perfect for writing neatly. However, the only downside is the pen holder attached to it—it broke within just a few days of using it. I wish it were sturdier because it’s such a convenient feature. Overall, though, I’m still happy with the journal itself!

Title: Perfect For What I Needed.
Review: I got this diary in order to write down various daily matters, upon the explicit request of my medical personnel, so I could look back and review pertinent info on when my medical episodes occurred. This has turned out to be the perfect fit for my needs. It is compact, lined and comes with the rubber-band to keep it together, with a holder for my pen too! I took it on vacation recently and it was very convenient to travel with. Would recommend.
