Title: It’s good but not perfect
Review: It does purée the vegetables as stated. It is easy to put together and take apart for washing. The negatives are It is way louder than I anticipated. I found that it does leak some around the bottom and it is stained orange from my carrots. The whole process takes time, adding that it needs to be washed each time.The quality is average for the price. If I had more money I would buy a different one but it does work.

Title: DANGEROUS - DO NOT BUY
Review: I purchased this Hamilton Beach juicer a couple months ago. I was using it today (probably have used it 10 times or fewer) and it completely exploded, sending the blade ricocheting off my kitchen cabinets (see included pic) and landing 15 feet away at my back door (see included picture). Despite having the double lock safety engaged, the juicer was still able to self destruct. The engine made a funny noise, the blade came loose, knocked each side of the plastic covering, causing the safety latches to fail, and then ALL the pieces went flying (plastic shrapnel and blade included). Honestly, I'm lucky to still have my eye sight. This product needs to be removed from Amazon's storefront immediately - this is a seriously dangerous product, especially if you can follow all safety instructions in the manual and still nearly lose an eye. I shudder at the thought of what could have happened to my toddler son if he was in the room with me.
