The Hamilton Beach® FlexBrew® TRIO Coffee Maker with 12 Cup Stainless Steel Thermal Carafe gives you 3 ways to brew. It brews a single cup with a pod or ground coffee or a whole pot with ground coffee. Includes 56 oz. removable water reservoir.
3 WAYS TO BREW: Brew a single cup with a pod or coffee grounds or brew up to 12 cups using your favorite ground coffee. To brew one serving, you have the option to brew up to a 10 oz. cup with a pod or brew up to 14 oz., 7" tall travel mug with coffee grounds.
FAST BREWING: In the morning, every second counts. The FlexBrew TRIO Coffee Machine with 12 Cup Thermal Carafe prepares an 8 oz. cup of coffee in about 90 seconds, so you have more time to enjoy your coffee.
BREW 7 SINGLE SERVINGS WITHOUT REFILLING: Enjoy a quick cup of coffee without stopping to pour water into your coffee maker. The removable 56 oz. water reservoir of this thermal carafe coffee maker saves you time because it needs fewer refills.
KEEPS COFFEE HOT AND FRESH LONGER: Pour 12 cups of hot, fresh-tasting coffee with the stainless steel thermal carafe. Because it insulates hot coffee without the need for a heating plate, there's no fear of coffee losing its fresh, just-brewed flavor.
5 SINGLE-SERVE SIZES: Customize the brewing size to your cup. Simply select 6, 8, 10, 12 or 14 oz. before you brew with ground coffee or choose 6, 8 or 10 oz. when brewing with a pod — you'll get the perfect amount in your cup.

Title: great product fast delivery
Review: I bought this to replace my dual Keurig coffee pot so far so good I like the fact that you can unscrew the top nozzle to clean it out from coffee grounds unlike my Keurig where you have to take screws out to get to the top nozzle when it clogs so this coffee pot is well worth it and a lot cheaper not to mention that it comes with a insulated stain less steel coffee pot that keeps my coffee hot for longer then my Keurig pot did

Title: Quality Issues - Do Not Buy
Review: UPDATE 03/31/2024: Since the date of the review written below we have gone through 4 of these units. All have failed in the same fashion, with the discharge hose on the pod heating block becoming disconnected. Each failure has been within a week of receipt of the product. There is a serious design flaw and a potential fire hazard as it also causes the heating coil to short or stop working when the house disconnects and steam poured from behind the pod lid for over a minute. Similar reviews call out the same issues. Recommendation = Do Not Buy.We finally gave up on this product and purchased a Keurig brand with a thermal carafe (Which is the key feature we sought.) To Hamilton Beach, I say fire your engineer who thought smooth output tubes on the heating blocks would hold up to repeated pressure cycles with clamps that can be compressed by finger strength alone.ORIGINAL POST:We purchased this machine, model 49920, and received it January 28th of 2024, to replace our Hamilton beach coffee maker, model 49976, that we'd had since November of 2017. Upfront, I wish we'd have gotten the same model. Our original model was used daily for years with nary an issue, until the reservoir for the large pot developed a leak.Enter the 49920, this model's review. Today is February 5th, 2024 and in the short week of having it, it's already broken. Not more than 6 pods of use on the single cup side and its leaking water all over the counter. I suspect that a hose inside the machine has melted at the heating chamber/vessel inside and now all the machine does is pump water into the internal compartment. This is for the pod side of the machine only. Also the needle clogged the second time we used it. We only use store bought pods and not the use your own grounds reusable basket. I suspect that the heating chamber stays hot constantly on the pod side, and the constant heat is what caused the transfer hose to fail. As I need to return the machine for the exchange process, I won't be able to dissect this machine and inspect to confirm the failure point. For the carafe side on the machine, brewing is as expected without issues. If you have your machine tucked under an overhead cabinet, you will likely need to pull the machine out to fill the carafe side reservoir. This machine sticks out farther than our previous model, so I have to pull it out all the way to the front edge of my counter for the lid to clear my upper cabinet. There is no heating element for the carafe, as it relies on its thermal insulation design to keep the coffee hot. This does prevent the coffee from becoming burnt, which I really do appreciate. The pour spout for the carafe needs some better engineering though, as others have noted in their reviews, as it tends to be messy. Whether this is a function of the air relief in the lid or pour fluid dynamics of the spout itself, I can't say.Overall, I will hold my final judgements on this machine in reserve for the time being, but will rate it two stars in comparison to my dearly departed model 49976. I want to like this machine, and perhaps I got a dud, but I feel as though the quality standards are not up to par with what it's replacing. I will update this review after I get my replacement and put it through further use.

Title: Would recommend!
Review: We wanted to have the option to brew single serve, kcups and a carafe of coffee. This machine is easy to use, easy to clean. Carafe takes like a minute or two to brew the single serves is much quicker. I would recommend if you are looking for multiple options for affordable price.

Title: Splashing coffee
Review: I have always liked the convenience of this coffeemaker and it makes a good cup of coffee. I have had several of this manufactures model over the years. What I don't like is you cannot pour a cup of coffee without dribbling it all over the counter. Of course, you can hold the pot higher as you pour, then it splashes all over the counter. Also, inside the water reservoir, black on black for the water measurement is not a good idea.

Title: Failed after only 1 month of use
Review: The single cup brewer failed after only one month. It started making odd noise, then the display says "OVERLOAD" and stops. I tried cleaning all of the parts, but it never worked again. The pot brewer still works, though when using filter and coffee grounds, it brews so fast, that it over flows. I switched to premade coffee pouches, and it works great. I also tried using less grounds in the filter and set to Bold flavor, but it still overflowed, but not as much. One thing I really like about it is the stainless carafe. It keeps the coffee hot for hours without the need for a warming plate. For that I gave it 2 stars instead of 1.

Title: Almost perfect
Review: I had the previous model with the glass carafe, and my one complaint was that the coffee would be so hot it would dehydrate in the carafe if left to stay warm. This new one is great- the pod reservoir is a good addition, the display is clear, but it has a few design flaws. The BIGGEST one is that the hot plate turns off after brewing so only The insulation of the carafe keeps the coffee warm. I find this waste, because itâs more time to fill the craft with hot water. Is the instruction suggest, to wait for it to pre-warm then it would be for the hot plate to just stay hot like in the old model. With the carafe being covered, it would decrease the dehydration and everything would be fine! but, if I get up a little bit later than the timer is set for, my coffee is not nearly as hot as it should be. Secondly, the carafe doesnât seal at all so it doesnât keep in any of the heat. The graph also doesnât pour 100% well. It seems like itâs empty but then you take the top off and thereâs about half a cup still in there so although I still love the Hamilton Beach flex brew for its convenience, I feel like they could have just tweaked a few things to make the absolute perfect model.Edit: will be returning if possible- the carafe leaks around the lid and makes a mess when you pour- even just a slow dribble!

Title: Single Cup Option Is Wonderful
Review: Sometimes, I want another cup of coffee after the first is empty. Guests are preparing to leave which means another full pot is not necessary. Being able to quickly make a single cup is much handier than I expected. I gave the product five stars, but my one complaint is that the insulated coffee pot cannot be completely emptied unless I remove the top and completely invert the coffee pot over my cup. No idea why the inner lip hangs over so much on the inside.

Review: This is a saving grace! We just moved to a lake house and we get a lot of company so the single use coffee maker that we used to have, quickly was overwhelmed and gave up. This is perfect because when the big group is here, we make a pot of coffee. When itâs just one or two, we go single use. Coffee is lovely. Trick Iâve found with the single use coffee pods - only make it 10 ounces at a time. Thatâs when the coffee tastes the best (to me anyway, and on bold).

Review: We use it everyday, several cups or a full pot of coffee. It works well and is sturdy. We also use it to heat water to make tea and hot chocolate. A very reliable appliance in our kitchen.

Review: Looks great in our place, I like that I can brew with single cups, craft or my own ground single serve. Strong brew over ice makes the perfect iced coffee. One thing to be aware of is to not fill the single serve cup to the max. It will pop the lid of the single serve causing an error. Pleased with this purchase
Customers say
Customers have negative opinions about the functionality and pot leakage of the coffee maker. They mention that it stopped working properly, leaks horribly when pouring, and has a poor capacity. Opinions are mixed on the coffee temperature, value for money, design, and water reservoir.
