Title: Great DIY Dual Door Lock
Review: I was really not counting on my ability to install this lock myself, but I did it, and it works perfectly! It matches my existing door knob and it looks great on my newly painted black door!It's not the heaviest quality lock in the world, but it's definitely beautiful, solid for the money, easy to install, and the price wasn't outrageous.Coming from a Walmart product, I wasn't sure what to expect, and with my abilities with electronics and home improvements I wasn't sure I'd be able to manage this myself, but the instructions were great. The one place I got stuck, I found a YouTube video from the company which helped me in an instant!I like that it has a key and a keypad so that we don't always have to use the buttons, and in case the batteries die. Make sure you put alkaline batteries in it, which is what it calls for, because that's supposed to help them hold up over colder weather months and not drain as quickly as non-alkaline batteries. We've used it well over 50 times over a few weeks with regular batteries in fall and hot weather, and it's working, but I'm switching to alkaline for the winter and long-term.If you need something easy to install and you want it quickly I would go with it.Remember that with these sometimes you have to pull and hold the handle from the outside until the deadbolt locks. I wasn't surprised, as this is common, even with more expensive ones I've used on other homes.

Review: We just moved into a new home, and the house came with a set of standard, key-only deadbolts.We like the idea of not worrying about “did we lock the door?” Or, family/friends being able to enter if we’re not around - so we bought a set of these for the front and back doors.They certainly do the trick!Very easy to install (especially on a door that’s already pre drilled) and customize.You can configure temporary, or permanent codes for family, friends, or even one time codes for delivery people - and set the time it takes to automatically close the lock.It comes in a nickel color, so it matched the existing door knobs as well as we could have hoped for.My only critique, would be that the interior locking mechanism (the piece you turn to lock/unlock the door) is made of plastic, so it feels rather cheap/low quality there. - and I wonder how long it will hold up over a few years.But, given the low price, it’s to be expected (it WAS cheap, so I can’t knock it for feeling like what it is)Still sturdy enough though. We’d buy again, simply for the low price point - or maybe “splurge” for a set that’s metal on both sides

Review: Reemplazamos por uno de Amazon basics que fallo por completo despues de menos de dos años. Este esta hasta mejor que este, ojala que dura mucho tiempo. La opcion de auto-cierre es muy confiable, instalacion sencillo y hasta ahora la programación fue muy fácil. 100% recomendable para cerradura sencilla donde ya no tienes que usar llave pero no quieres conectar via wifi.

Review: First off, I like the look of this lock. Very elegant with the oiled brass look. Second is, it was reasonably priced. Thirdly, it was fairly easy to install with just a screw driver. There are various modes that you can program so keep the cheat sheet near if you want to change any of it. I certainly could not remember each step required for each mode. The deadbolt seems very robust and has an anti pick feature to prevent someone sliding back the bolt. The electric motor is very quiet. A very good lock with some handy features for a reasonable price.
