Title: Love these kitchen scissors!
Review: I had these once and was foolish enough to let my mom keep them when I moved. Now I have had enough! It’s time to bring these brilliant snips back into my kitchen! From the quality blade, roomy handles for easy grip, to the easy assemble/disassemble design that makes rinsing and washing such an ease AND they won’t rust at the joint if you let them dry apart. I love these! BEST kitchen shears that I know will stay sharp for years, will have the durability of top chef quality, and simply cannot and will not disappoint.

Title: Sharp, strong, and easy to clean
Review: We purchased these because our old set was dull and couldn't be easily cleaned. These are the exact opposite. They come apart when they should and stay together when they should, and they are sharp enough to do anything you need to do with them.

Review: I was looking for kitchen scissors to spatchcock whole chickens. They were recommended to me by a chef because of their high quality and durability. They are sharp and precise and I put them in the dishwasher after use with no signs of rust.

Title: Asians use knives for cutting at the table. These are the best.
Review: I visited my 84 year old mom and gifted her Wusthof pieces.She immediately washed them.She immediately cleaned out her junk knives.Vacuumed the drawer.I don't remember what she made, but she loved that they come apart for washing!I have a 37(?) piece set, with the butcher block. Very few rival German steel knives. My preference is Wusthof-Trident over Henkles, because of the extensive selection.Gotta get her a drawer insert for them.

Title: Work well, don't feel up to Wusthof quality
Review: I have a set of Wusthof Classic kitchen knives that I've put together over the course of more than a decade of buying one knife at a time, and finally putting them all together in a Wustof block. The last thing I bought was this pair of shears to replace an old Kitchenaid pair I got at Target 20+ years ago. These are fine, but they're not appreciably better than the Kitchenaids, and actually might be slightly worse. They come apart to clean, which the Kitchenaids didn't, and that's a nice touch. But they also are slightly difficult to put back together because the pin in the middle slides in and out when it should be set in place, so you have to push on it from behind while clicking the second part onto it. It's frustrating. On top of that the handles aren't particularly comfortable, and the plastic is cheap instead of being the same kind of heavy, smooth, Bakelite-like plastic as the rest of my knives. I'm still giving them 4 stars because they're solid and sharp and get the job done, but I can't help but be disappointed, given my expectations from the quality I've experienced with all of Wusthof's other products I've bought.

Review: Huge Wustof fan, so when we needed new kitchen scissors these were an obvious choice. The are sharp, comfortable to hold and grip, and cut so easily. They fit in my standard kitchen block, so are the size of what you would expect normal scissors to be. They are easy to use and cut anything. Wustof, is some of the best quality, and these live up to the name.

Review: I have the knife set and I love this brand, but don’t put them in the dishwasher as they started to get rust marks. Not sure if it’s my dishwasher that’s doing it or if this is general. But I just hand wash them now instead like the knives. But definitely recommend them.

Review: Diese Küchenschere von Wüsthoff ist eigentlich nichts Besonderes, eine robuste Küchenschere, mit der man Lebensmittelverpackungen etc. leicht öffnen kann, hier tut sie, was sie tun soll. Der Clou bei dieser Schere ist aber ein anderer! Sie besitzt eine Eigenschaft, die ich vorher noch bei keiner anderen Küchenschere gesehen habe, sie lässt sich nämlich ganz einfach in ihre beiden Hälften teilen. Als ich diese Schere kaufte, wusste ich nichts von dieser Funktion und entdeckte sie nur durch Zufall, als ich die beiden schmutzigen Schneiden unter dem Wasserhahn säubern wollte. Dabei klappte ich die beiden Hälften aus Versehen sehr weit auseinander und hatte plötzlich beiden Hälften getrennt in den Händen. Zunächst war ich verwirrt und wütend, dachte ich doch, die Schere wäre kaputt, doch weit gefehlt: Es handelte sich dabei nicht um einen Fehler, sondern ist vom Hersteller so gewollt. So lassen sich nämlich die Schneiden viel leichter reinigen und trocknen, wenn man mal wieder eine Verpackung aufgeschnitten hat und danach Soße oder Apfelmus an den Schneiden klebt. Im normalen Einsatz ist die Schere genauso wie jede andere Schere, d.h. die Schere zerlegt sich nicht von selbst. Nur wenn man sie ganz weit öffnet, kann man sie einfach auseinandernehmen. Sehr praktisch und durchdacht, finde ich!
