Title: Quiet, well made, perfect size, stylish
Review: First of all, I wanted a single bowl sink that didn't overwhelm my kitchen counter. And, I wanted a sink that was less industrial looking than the commercial-like sinks. The design of the sink with its rounded corners makes cleaning easy. Like all stainless products, it shows water spots if you don't wipe them up. But Kraus included a micro-towel for this purpose. The sink is quiet due to the sound dampening Kraus has put on the outside walls and underside. I especially like the drain rack that fits in the bottom. It is functional but stylish. The rack comes with extra feet and bumpers so you can replace them when you need to. While this is a relatively small sink, I can put a dishpan on one side and still have room in the sink to rinse things off. A great choice for the new quartz counters we had installed.

Title: Impressive, high quality sink - great bang for your buck!
Review: When this sink came I was immediately impressed with the attention to detail and care that the company shows in packaging and presentation. The 40 /60 sink is roomy and deep; it's perfect for large pots and pans. The 16 gauge stainless is nice and heavy and the insulation will help with noise. I looked at both of the main home improvement stores and didn't find anything close in quality to this sink in the same price range. The grids that are custom fit for each side are nice and heavy and will help keep the bottom of the sink looking great for years to come. I definitely got the best bang for my buck with this purchase.

Title: Fantastic sink for the price! Fits (just barely!) in 30" Kraftmaid sink base.
Review: I wanted a big, sturdy sink for our kitchen remodel. The layout demanded a 30" sink base, this was the biggest sink that the description said fit a 30" base, so we took a chance on it.Our local Kraftmaid rep happened to be at our house to issue replacement doors, and we spoke with him about our sink plans. We were concerned about compromising the structural integrity of the sink, or voiding the manufacturer's excellent warranty. We would have to cut out part of the wood on the top of both sides to get the sink to fit.He said that in no way would it void Kraftmaid's warranty. The wood pieces we were cutting apparently are for attaching Formica to the top of the cabinet - they do not affect the structural integrity of the cabinet at all! There is enough room in the base to leave ~1" on either side of the sink, once the cut has been made.We were thrilled and ordered the Kraus that day.Our plumber was impressed with the quality of the sink. We got lucky with installation, we had less than 1/4" clearance for the drain pipe underneath because we had not anticipated such a deep sink and drain - definitely make sure your plumber has the spec sheet info for the depth of the drain so he allows enough room underneath for the drain rough-in.We are so glad we did! The sink is cavernous - we can stack a pile of dirty dishes on one side, and strain a pot of pasta into a full-sized colander on the other.Overall a beautiful, durable sink for an excellent price, comes with all the accessories, and fits into a 30" sink base - this was a home run in our reno and one of the few decisions we didn't agonize over or second-guess (once we knew it would fit!)We would have loved to support an American company (the Kraus is made in China), however we put chunks of our reno budget towards bigger ticket items made in the USA (appliances, cabinets, etc), and were happy to get a quality sink for a reasonable price.

Title: A sink that rises to the top
Review: Even with great reviews and high expectations, still impressed.I've had this sink 4 years, and I still love it. Looks fabulous with minimal upkeep. No dents, and I abuse it a bit. Hardly any scuffs, even from the grid. The sink drain is somewhat restrictive, but then again, I really don't want food going down there (no disposal, so wrong) so I just keep it cleaned out.Large temperature changes will produce a bit of a popping sound as the concavity flexes. But despite doing that to the sink on a regular basis, it shows no negative effects. With respect to other noises, it's a solid sink, so running water in it sounds soothing, rather than just loud. It tends to do a good job calming the water sound, rather than producing a cacophony. But that may have to do with the mount, counters, etc. (I have soapstone, undermount)It is deep. If you are short, that could be a problem, but that also depends on your counter height. For me, with 36" counters and 5' 10" height (and long arms) it is perfect. The grid on the bottom is a mixed blessing. Never had one before, and never tried this sink without. Maybe I'd like it more without the grid. While the grid helps in some ways (not sure what they are) the downside is that it gets dirty quickly, and is tedious to clean.I had a Delta Ashton faucet originally and no matter how I used it, the water stayed in the sink. My new Grohe is a bit more powerful and you can get some overspray, but I will probably reduce the pressure. Not a sink issue. What else can one say about such elegant simplicity? The thing with sinks is, you only think about them when they wrong you. And then you loathe them. I rarely think about this sink, except once in a while when I recall how unhappy I am with many of the original purchases of four years ago in my kitchen. The Kraus stays...

Title: Amazing quality!
Review: I love this sink. I replaced my double basin sink with this and I couldn't be happier. It is insulated so it's so quiet. It looks so nice and sleek in my kitchen. My only complaint is I don't like the rack so if you don't have the rack in there, it does scratch easily if you hand wash any heavy pans in it. But it is a sink and that's what it's meant for. So I'm just super happy to be able to even fit my pans inside of it compared to my double sink! Highly recommend! This is also such a fantastic price for this kind of sink.

Review: I love this sink. Looks great. The only problem that we had was our own fault. We did not take into consideration that the undermount sink would actuall hang one inch lover under the counter. We have an osmosis system and this created a plumping problem. If you go from an over the counter mount to an under the counter mounting please keep this in mind. I love the lower centre which allows me to easily wash larger items. I would highly recommend this sink.
