Review: When I received this box, everything (including the directions) was locked inside. Fortunately, I was able to guess the combination (000) and open it. Other than the initial confusion, I am very happy with this box. All of my knives fit inside. My biggest knife is 14" long and 2" wide, and it had no problem. If you have a lot of knives with thick handles, you may have difficulty fitting them all. The box comes with the combination lock installed, and the combination is easy to set to whatever you want. The lock works smoothly so far, but I just got it, so I don't know how it will hold up over time. The box looks nice, and seems well made. I am surprised that I couldn't find many products available to lock up knives, since I imagine we aren't the only family with a need to keep knives away from members with mental health struggles. Ideally, I would have liked a box with a fingerprint lock for quick access while cooking. The orientation of the combination is awkward, and would be difficult to enter the combination while the box is in a drawer, since you have to look at it from the side. I intend to keep it on my counter.

Title: Does it's job well and looks good
Review: Thanks to this, wandering hands won't find our knives yet they're easily within reach for us. The box is extremely light and seems well made. However the walls of the box are really thin which makes them seem less durable. Locking and unlocking are easy enough, though the knives have to be arranged such that they're not in the way of the locking mechanism. Overall, the box works as advertised without issues. I'm so happy with the purchase that I purchased another!

Review: This box is a $40 joke, only I'm not laughing. It's flimsy a toddler can open it while it locked, and worst of all it definitely wouldn't hold my knives with the wooden blocks in there. With blocks in it held 4 knives, standard kitchen knives because the handles of the knives, but with the blocks out I can fit 9 knives, that are just laying in an over priced wooden box. Definitely don't recommend this thing, your better off buying an actual lock box

Title: Breaks if thrown!!
Review: If you’re buying this for your very frail person to avoid them getting into it, good, for your toddler, good, for hiding sharp objects from anyone over 5 who can throw things well….. it will break. It takes under five minutes to smash it open.So if you’re using this to protect someone, get something heavier or use a drawer lock to extend the time to break in.

This bamboo beauty is like Fort Knox for my precious collection of slicey bois. As soon as it arrived, I could tell it was crafted with love and lots of splinters. The panda logo is just *chef's kiss* - the perfect touch of sophistication for my deadly arsenal of cutlery.Now, getting into this bad boy is a mission in itself. It's like trying to crack the Da Vinci Code, but for knife addicts. I've got calluses on my fingers from wrestling with the locking mechanism. But once you're in, oh baby, it's knife Nirvana!This thing holds more knives than a Swiss Army recruit. I've got my trusty bread knife snuggled up next to my militant meat cleaver. There's enough room in here for the entire Culinary Commandos squad! The adjustable supports are a game-changer too. No more awkward spooning with my beloved blades.The only downside? My knives are so cozy in their bamboo bungalow that they're starting to protest every time I try to free them for duty. Review: Kidsafe? Haha - my 8 year old pried the lid off in less than 5 minutes with a butter knife, shattering the lid rails.It looks nice enough and I suppose if you want the appearance of a lockbox it would do, but I'm terms of security it is completely useless.Total waste of money for me.
