Title: Solid gaming laptop for the cost
Review: Setup was easy and bloatware was relatively light. As others have mentioned, it's best to uninstall McAfee right away to rely on Windows Defender, then replace Armory Crate with G-Helper (same function, smaller load on the computer). I didn't see much else for unnecessary addons.The 16GB RAM was a bit disappointing with no option to upgrade, but the blessing is that ASUS designs their laptops in a way that makes it EXTREMELY easy to upgrade RAM + SSD which is why I opted for their brand. Strongly recommend getting 32GB to make for an even better experience. It does make a big difference when gaming or multi tasking.The laptop handles games well and, unlike some gaming laptops, doesn't sound like a jet taking off under load. It does run pretty warm, so don't keep it on your lap. Get a lap desk to allow the laptop to breath and protect your legs.

Title: High temp while charging
Review: The laptop overall its good and has great specs. I found that mine had a cooling issue while charging. Only while charging the games lagged and stutter very severly, running games on battery everything was smooth. ASUS was not much helpful as in what could be the issue. So a little research revealed that the laptop did not have a correct setting for the fans while charging. Downloading a 3rd party program fixed everything. The name of the program is Ghelper. Watch a video first as you have to uninstall some programs first. Still the laptop runs fairly hot, but the games look great with no stuttering.

Review: I’ve had the Asus TUF Gaming A16 for a while now, and unfortunately, it has been a disappointing experience overall. Here’s my breakdown:PerformanceThe performance is underwhelming for a gaming laptop. I tried running Street Fighter 5, and it lagged heavily. The laptop also stutters significantly when using a second screen, which makes multitasking frustrating.DisplayThe display is one of the few positives. It looks great, and the high refresh rate provides smooth visuals, which I appreciate.Build QualityThe laptop is big and heavy, made of plastic. While it looks decent for a gaming laptop—sleek and simple—it feels sturdy. However, the touchpad feels cheap and poorly designed. After just one month, the touchpad stopped working correctly, and attempts to fix it (driver reinstallations, OS resets) have failed, pointing to a hardware issue. Additionally, the LED indicators are confusing and not intuitive.ThermalsThis laptop is incredibly noisy out of the box, and it runs unnecessarily hot, even during moderate tasks.Battery LifeThe battery life is as expected for a gaming laptop—around two hours at best. However, switching between performance modes is a hassle, as it requires a restart for some GPU settings.Keyboard and TouchpadThe keyboard is okay, though I could live without the function buttons on top. The touchpad is a major disappointment. Title: HOT!
Review: The laptop is fine, specs are powerful, screen looks good, and battery life was good. The speakers are alright. The keyboard feels fairly nice to type on and has a single zone rgb which can be changed through the software. The Asus software isn't great and feels stuttery at times.The major flaw I've faced with the laptop's cooling is it just CANNOT keep up with the powerful cpu at all even when paired with an 100 dollar laptop cooler. The temperatures at performance mode at idle is around 75-85C, while gaming, the laptop's cpu temps easily skyrockets to 95C and is consistent which leads to thermal throttling. I do not know if this is a faulty product and is exclusive to my system but temperatures are unacceptable. I have sent the product for warranty and nothing seem to change about the temperatures.

Title: Runs hot, poor quality charger, runs smooth at least?
Review: Runs as hot or hotter than my Acer Predator. Should not run at 70 degrees C when launching Sims 4. Runs too hot just running the browser too. The Asus software doesn't want to work right. For some reason it just randomly changes off of Manual and I can't find a setting to fix it. Not user friendly. Essentially had to underclock the cpu and increase fan speeds to get it to stay around 60 degrees C. Adapter is very wiggly where the 2 pieces connect, I imagine that will get worse with time.The asus software that controls keyboard lighting sucks. I have all the settings set up so it should stay on at all times and it turns off as soon as I log in. Sorta opposite of what I need and not at all what I wantIt flashes the monitor randomly, haven't had time to even troubleshoot that. Only thing it's got going for it is the fact that it does run smoothly. My games have no problems on max graphics, other than the cpu temp being frigging ridiculously high.
