Title: Great book very interesting.
Review: The auther did a great job.I loved this book. It kept me Glued to seat. I loved Anne she is a great person. John knew that Anne was the partner he had been seeking, he would just have to put up with her getting involved into his cases. After all said and done a great book.

Title: murder and mayhem
Review: Things are looking up for writer and cat momma Anna Romano. She has found herself a new beau in Detective John Solace and all seems right in the world. That is until she goes to the grocery store and witnesses a fight between a woman and her husband’s mistress. Anna can’t keep her nose out of things and when first the wife is killed and then the mistress, Anna gets herself in a precarious situation. This is a delightful quick read cozy mystery filled with humor, madcap adventure, and even a bit of romance. Perfect for when you need a relaxing read by the pool or to pass the time while riding the metro.I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Title: Nice “Nancy Drew” feel
Review: The title is great! I loved how all three objects in the title play out in pieces of the story to bring it all together. The “Prologue” is a must read. The main characters without much description are quite relatable based on their dialogue and actions alone. For example I completely felt Anna’s personality when a heated argument broke out in the grocery store and the author wrote: “being the nosy author-cat lady that I am, I headed to aisle three to get a front row view.”There are a lot of twists in this, and just when you think you know who the murderer is, you find you’re wrong. It had a nice “Nancy Drew” feel to it, where no scenes are drawn out and it moves through quickly to uncover the real mystery and all the various suspects. At first I was a bit confused as two characters “Anna” and “John” both talk in first person depending on the chapter, but as soon as I caught on who was who when the author would use “I” then it flowed much better for me.This was a fun read, one of those you could read sitting with a cup of coffee in a bookstore, or at an airport waiting for your flight. I look forward to more work from this author.

Title: Unpleasant story
Review: It didn't say it was a cozy mystery but I guess I expected it to be. The writing also seems amateurish. I thought the story too unrealistic. I didn't enjoy it or the ending. I will not read another by the author. I'm glad it was a free book.

Title: Cute and Entertaining
Review: This was a cute, quick read. I laughed a few times throughout the book and found that Anna was likeable and relatable. I wasn’t a fan, however, of the multiple points of view: I got used to the switching between Anna and John, but then when the third POV was added in, it was a little more muddled for me and I thought it took me out of the story; I prefer for that information to be gained during investigation rather than doled out though another person’s eyes. Otherwise, I enjoyed this story and look forward to future installments.
