Title: Works great, easy to set up
Review: This sprinkler is sturdy and works great. There are many features where you can adjust the spray so it hits the left side, right side, or both. Plus, you can adjust for distance. I bought two of these sprinklers for my garden and couldn't be happier. Good price for the quality!! Highly recommend.

Title: Pretty good sprinkler, not necessarily long lasting
Review: I'm purchasing my fourth Melnor XT today, my first one was purchased maybe 4 years ago. They are good, adjustable sprinklers- I have a number of beds that have wonky shapes and I'm almost always able to get it adjusted to fit the bed. The downfall is that it's all plastic, and something breaks after about a year, year and a half. The gears went in two so they no longer oscillated, the adjustment piece to narrow the field is broken in one I have now, and despite my best efforts to clean, some of the holes on each will stop putting out water so I get a strip that doesn't get any water. Despite knowing its short life span, I still find it a good sprinkler. I once purchased a much more expensive all metal sprinkler hoping it would last longer. It did not.

Title: Better Than I Thought
Review: I just received this sprinkler today and it's state-of-the-art. The timer works with perfection and the settings are spot-on. I am really impressed with this sprinkler. It covers the areas you set it to without having to worry about moving the sprinkler around to cover each area of your lawn. You can set the timer, adjust the settings to cover specific areas of the grass you want to water, then go inside, watch the game, and eat a nice big hero sandwich, all without any worries. 5 stars easy.

Review: Love this sprinkler! I havent used a lawn sprinkler in decades but I am using a lawn company now and some of the applications require watering the lawn so I had to get something. I am not at all an expert on the size of an area, so I cannot attest to the 4000 sq ft claim, but I can say that I have a HUGE front yard and I only had to move the sprinkler 3 times (actually a bit more because I had to figure out the settings and the right place in the yard but I marked 3 positions in the yard).Its super-easy to connect and use. I didnt use the quick connect accessory that it comes with because I dont have those connections on anything else - because I have never had any that didnt leak and pretty much hate them - so I cant tell you if the quick connect accessory works as it should or not. As good as the sprinkler is, I would expect that it does work.I love all the adjustments that you can make to the amount of water being sprayed and the spray area - that is actually what I like most about it. The adjustments allow you to be very intentional about where you want the water and minimizes wasting water by watering the driveway, the street, or your neighbors yard.Yes - its all plastic, but isnt most everything these days. It is lightweight and feels durable. The connection to the hose is water tight and there is no leaking anywhere within the unit. The water goes in where it should and comes out where it should. I believe that if you dont treat it like a caveman or let it sit out in the sunlight all the time when not in use, it should last about as long as you can expect a $35 appliance to last.Very happy with my purchase - highly recommend!

Review: Versatility of the unit allows watering different sections as the unit is moved from one area to another. It waters 180 degrees both full section or half section or any degree in between. Used it on new lawn area everyday for a week until we finally got some rain. In between lawn area, we watered flower bed with one section closed and only rotating 60 degrees. Have not seen any clogs in dispensing orifices.

Title: Love the control options
Review: With an L shaped yard, it's so nice to be able to quickly set the width and length of the water. I had an all plastic version of this that lasted a couple of years out in the sun full time. Eventually the control toggles got brittle and broke. Even though this has the metal base, the controls are exactly the same as my old one. My plan is to store this one out of sunlight to keep the plastic holding up longer. The quick connect/disconnect is an awesome addition.

Review: THIS SPRINKLER IS EXACTLY AS ADVERTISED; WORKS WELL AND CAN BE EASILY ADJUSTED TO COVER A SPECIFIC AREA. IF THERE'S ANY DOWNSIDE, IT MIGHT BE THAT IT'S PLASTIC, A LITTLE LIGHT AND MAY NOT BE AS DURABLE AS A METAL ONE. BUT VERY GOD FOR THE PRICE.

Review: My old sprinkler not working this year = not oscillating and unable to fix. Ordered this one, received today and it works great. Easy to use, has greater coverage, more selection for specific coverage. Also it is much lower profile to ground = stays flat ( had to screw down my old one on 1 X 4 boards to stay flat ) Also this one slides easily on lawn = handy when u want to pull it back a little. This one gets into small areas more efficiently but can also cover larger area than my old one. Would recommend.
