Title: Didn’t live up to rating.
Review: I could not rate it with even 1 star. The idea is great but assembly instructions were poor. 1 particular piece was not mentioned or pictured in the assembly sheet. I’m a sort of handyman and figured out where it belonged but it did not function properly. I had issues with this product I hope others found it useful. I returned mine. Had to rate with 1 star but wasn’t worth it in order to leave review

Title: Rough!
Review: Right out of the box, this frame had chips out of the paint, opening the metal up to corrosion. At the base of the main threaded rod that does most of the work lifting, there was an extra bearing and race. It was not apparent in the assembly instructions or videos on Amazon. Unclear which side of the main bearing it is supposed to go (if at all). The "safety harness" is mentioned in the instructions ("be sure to attach safety harness before raising lift"). The "harness" is a length of rope no more durable than a clothesline. It isn't apparent in the instructions or the Amazon video how to secure the mower to this lift product frame. Interestingly, in the seller's video showing assembly and operation (where they lift 1000 pounds of concrete slabs on a plastic tub), they do not show the rope at all! Also, the assembly was not as easy as the video showed because the holes were either too small because of excess paint or they were not drilled out completely. A rubber mallet was need to "coax" the bolts through. The bolts came with flat washers and small lock washers. The instructions and parts list failed to mention the lock washers. It was unclear which side of the frame they needed to go on (I put the flat washer and lock washer on the nut side based on what I saw in other customer videos).

Title: Problem with threaded rod
Review: Bolt that attaches the crank to the threaded rod was not properly drilled out. Had to get a drill and drill through the hole to clean it out for the bolt to go through. The attachment for the top of the threaded rod to allow for lifting with a drill does not fit over the top of the threaded rod. I suppose I'll be limited to using the hand crank.
