Title: Been a fan of Jules Verne since 11 years old
Review: Iâve been a sciencei fiction addict for 55 years. I have 36 of Jules Verneâs works in an anthology from Golden Deer or Delphi. Why buy this set when I have the anthology? These are books I wish to read again, and moving around in the anthology with thousands of pages is tiring and SLOW.

Title: books
Review: Always thought Verne's books would be strictly for kids.......not so. Perhaps older teens. They are wonderful. Verne was a genius it seems in so much, even in 1886. And, such an imagination. So happy I ordered them.

Title: Jules Verne is the master
Review: He truly is the Father of Science Fiction. All four books were great, though I wish From the Earth to the Moon had been included. 80 Days was the clear best, then Mysterious Island, Center of Earth, and finally 20,000 Leagues.

Title: Great deal.
Review: A collection of the best Jules Verne, in a cheap hardcover. They're the same stories I love, and affordable. Not the most handsome book on my shelf, but it's got the content I want, and for a good price. Can't beat that.

Title: Great looking book, but I wish it had some of the original illustrations
Review: Or any illustrations, for that matter.Otherwise, good quality.I loved Jules Verne since I was a kid; I deducted 2 stars not for the writing, but for this printed edition. Since the book copyright expired long time ago, I don't see why not include the original illustrations with this edition.

Review: My Pandemic reading list consisted of many genres, but my first attack upon the list started with the Best of Jules Verne. MYSTERIOUS ISLAND was the last novel that I read of the group. After slogging through three quarters of the book learning all about engineering, farming, chemistry and animal husbandry, the pace picked up with the island being attacked by pirates. From there on the action mounted and it was pleasurable reading at that.
