Title: Smells better than youâd expect!
Review: I really like the scent of this soap! Iâm not a huge fan of pine smell generally, but when I noticed that the pine tar oils were mixed with cedar wood my brain sparked to life and I thought thatâs a scent I could get behind, and it totally was! Is. Itâs a lightly outdoor masculine scent that is like a hug to your senses. I took a bath with it the other night and kept soaping myself up just to get the full effect as itâs not a fragranced bar of soap that will overwhelm you at all, or bring on a flood of sniffles. When I finally finished doing that I rinsed off squeaky clean. It wasnât a stripped type of clean, because this soap gives back and didnât leave my skin feeling tight or parched, or even like I needed to rush out and slather myself in lotion, but I was slightly squeaky nonetheless. Perfect! I got the two bar set and plan to hoard the one bar for myself and my baths, and tuck away the other for the inevitable coming of the poison ivy oak or sumac skin invasions that they claim will calm down with this soap, as summer is looming large. Oh, and as far as packaging goes, you really canât do better for an item like this. Would make a great gift even, and I absolutely love the little card tucked inside with the soaps properties listed. I almost felt like I received a candle from my local herbal store full of spiritual advice, only this was better, as at least I knew I got my skin clean along with the experience.
