Title: Light weight yet powerful
Review: I absolutely LOVE this Shark vacuum as it never, ever loses suction! It is lightweight and easy move around and pick up. The filters are easy to wash and last forever. I had another Shark Navigator many years ago and it was a great vacuum also but had a longer hose on it, to which I fond that this models hose is not as long and when I am using the wand on it there is just not enough length to easily use for many areas that I am trying to reach. Other than that, I have no other complaints about it. I have pets and its a great value for the price exceeding all performance expectations.

Title: Great Value for Price
Review: The suction is great on carpet, not the best on hard floors without the brush roll going, so that's a little obnoxious for my neighbors in the apartment below me I'm sure. Lol. The vaccuum also only goes back and forth, the head doesn't swivel for ease of going around corners. For some reason I expected that to be a standard feature that most vaccuums have now adays. My parent's Shark has the swivel feature. I don't remember seeing that in the description or not, but if you are wanting a vaccuum that easily maneuvers around corners, this ain't it. Otherwise its a great vaccuum for the price. Lightweight and does the job. Can't complain. When I move out into a bigger place some day, I'll probably get a vaccuum that has more features, but this is a great starter vaccuum and great for small homes. 🙂

Review: I LOVE LOVE LOVE this vacuum cleaner!My old vacuum finally died and the first time I used this I was amazed at what it picked up. I have 50/50 split in my house of hardwood and carpeting. It worked beautifully on both.The first time I used it on my carpets, I had to stop and empty the dust cup for each room! No, it's not that the dust cup is small -- it actually holds as much if not more than the bags of my previous vacuum -- it's just that it sucked up SO much more than the old one missed.Now that I've used it multiple times I don't have to empty the dust cup nearly as much.I do have two dogs and need a good vacuum. So VERY pleased with this. Easy to assemble (a few clicks here and there), SO easy to maneuver, lightweight and responsive to touch, and powerful! A+++++

Title: Wow!! Just, WOW!!
Review: This thing gets at it. It pulled up dirt and dust and pet hair (from a fur baby that's long gone) that i didn't even know was there. I had been using a Bissell vac twice a week. But it evidently was all noise and no action. The suction, brush power, sturdy build onthis Shark are AMAZING! And I love being able to shut the brush off for my tile and wood floors! Probably will retire my dust mop and broom. You will NOT be disappointed with this Shark vac!!

Title: Pretty good but NOT my old Shark
Review: I had another Shark model, a bit larger than this one, and it was the bomb. I left it with the new owners of a home I sold. I had it for almost 10 years and it never let me down and it worked as well the day I parted ways with it as the day I bought it. If I hadn’t had that experience I might have left this model a four or five star rating. For the money I am satisfied with this purchase, but it isn’t as good a product as the previous model I owned (they were both under $200). This one has a less durable feel to it though the suction is good and it is lightweight. The roller bar also bogs down on medium pile carpet, which is not only curious but also makes me wonder about product longevity. Finally, the packaging box says there is a three year warranty (my previous Shark also had either a three or a five year warranty, I can’t recall which); but the product manual and the Shark website both indicate this model has a one year warranty. Well, which is it? Isn’t that an important enough issue that you would think Shark could get it consistent on the information they present to the consumer? It’s not rocket science to get it right. I took a photo of the box with my iPhone for warranty documentation but how cheesy is it that I have to do something like that? It makes me wonder about how satisfied I will be with my purchase going forward, though I realize we live in a throwaway society and most people probably don’t care if they might have to throw it away after a year at this price point.

Review: The unit is light and when doing couch or other surfaces with the removable top vacuum, suction is excellent. When doing the floor there is very little suction and does not pick up anything heavier than cat hairballs unless i go over it numerous times and even then it sometimes doesn't pick up.
