A Netflix Original series!

The second book in the New York Times, USA Today, and Wall Street Journal bestselling series, with over 7 million copies in print!

"Terrifyingly fun! Delivers big thrills and even bigger laughs."--Jeff Kinney, author of the #1New York TimesbestsellerDiary of a Wimpy Kid

The zombies are disappearing. This might seem like a good thing, since zombies eat your brains, but normal human kid Jack Sullivan is suspicious. He keeps hearing an eerie shrieking noise that seems to be almost summoning the zombies—but to where, and for what (probably) foul purpose?

Jack, his three best friends (maybe the only people left on Earth), and their pet monster Rover need to get to the bottom of this. Along the way they encounter a lot more than they bargained for, including a giant Wormungulous, a pizza parlor monster hangout, an ancient evil who destroys worlds, and a stereo system that is totally the bomb. Can Jack figure out why the zombies are vanishing . . . before he and his friends are next?

Told in a mixture of text and black-and-white illustration, this is the perfect series for any kid who's ever dreamed of starring in their own comic book or video game.

Title: Good Storyline, Easy Reading
Review: According to the 10-year-old who read it: I felt like the main character was really relatable. The storyline stays pretty good, but the artwork gets a little sloppy later in the series, less realistic and more cartoonish. I'd recommend it to preteens who like apocalyptic stories.

Title: he would love this as well
Review: I saw the prequel to this book posted on facebook and immediately ordered it for my son who loves to read. He is obsessed with DoaWK so I knew since the writer of that book commented on TLKoE, he would love this as well. Anyway, once I commented on the post the author sent me a message and said he'd like to send my son a signed sticker for each book. Such perfect timing since my little one was just about to turn 9 and these were part of his birthday presents! My son read the first book in TWO DAYS! He absolutely loved it! I was trying to hold on to the 2nd book but once the signed stickers arrived, I couldn't pass up the chance to surprise my son with not only the book, but the stickers as well! I've attached some photos here for you to see just how much my son loved the book. The first photo is him receiving the sequel and the next couple of photos are of him realizing he now has autographed stickers for each book! Max Brallier has written a great series and has fabulous communication with his fan base! we are definitely looking forward to the future books in this series coming out!

Review: While I didn't enjoy this book nearly as much as the first one, I think this is a great entry in the franchise.Obviously, I'm not the target audience, but I still feel the first book had a greater sense of danger than this one.The artwork reigns supreme here, however. Kudos!Looking forward to the next book.
