Title: Excellent litter box for litter spray control
Review: I got this litter box over a month ago, as I hate having litter sprayed around my house. I have one cat, and she easily started using this box (I used Dr. Elsey's attract litter to get her started, though I'm not sure I needed to). The cover captures most of the litter as she jumps out, and the litter box is small enough to tuck away discretely in a corner of my house (my cat is 8-9 lbs). It is a bit more of a process to do a deep clean than just a litter pan by itself, since this litter box has the pan, walls, and lid, but it is worth it.

Title: Great size and functionality
Review: I really like this litter box. Itâs a good size and it really cuts down on litter tracking. We use oko less mess cat litter with a long hair cat and very little makes it out of the box. I will say, I donât know how a liner is supposed to work with this because cat claws just tear it up, but that would be the same with any litter box so itâs not a problem to me. I have now purchased a second one because we have added a new cat to the house. Itâs easy to clean, the convenience of how the lid attaches on this box in comparison to other litter boxes is a major plus. I definitely recommend this litter box over other options, especially any front entry box. Also if you have a kitten or if cat were to be suddenly unable to access the top entry you can just use the main pan without the outer layer and lid, I like that functionality.

Title: Best box so far, but with a few design flaws
Review: UPDATE: From 3 stars to 4 (would EASILY be 5 if the Design Issue in the original review was addressed)This is BY FAR the best litter box we've ever owned.SET-UP TIPS (EASY once you get the hang of it):- Optional: put some newspaper or a pad down in the tray first- Put in a thick liner (will make litter changes SUPER easy).--- This is what I've used for maybe a year now (the thickest and the best fit I've found): "Ultrasac 2 MIL Thick Cat Litter Box Liners - 36" x 19" - Odor Free Leak Proof Disposable Heavy Duty Jumbo Durable Coreless Drawstring Scratch Tear Resistant"- Slowly lower the outer shell over the tray. As you lower the shell, gently tug on the liner edges (from the outside/along the bottom of the shell) to get the liner to lie as flat as possible on the bottom of the tray. (By getting it super flat, my cats no longer tear the liner. And I no longer need the cardboard I'd been using.)- Pour the litter in, then put the small lid on. (I use Ultra brand crystals; it's very lightweight and works well with the box and liners.)TO SCOOP:- Take off the small, flat top (not the entire shell, as some reviewers suggest); then you'll have full access to the box for scooping.TO CHANGE:- Take off the top and the outer shell, and remove the entire bag. That's it! Now just set up the new bag and litter as described above! SUPER EASY!!! (Oh, and scrape to clean the ridge at the bottom of the shell. It's annoying because they should just redesign this, but the litter comes off MUCH easier than other boxes we've had.)If they ever redesign to remove that ridge, I'd buy a new box in a heartbeat. Also, we keep this box ~2' off the ground on top of a small cabinet used for storing extra litter, scoops, etc. I can scoop without having to bend or squat, so I don't procrastinate as much. ðORIGINAL REVIEW:Pros- Less litter scatter after the first day or so- Nice looking- It's a comfortable size for my 2 cats, one of whom is over 20 lbs (not fat, just a HUGE cat), yet the box has a relatively small footprint.- My cats eyed it curiously, then used it without any issues or coaxing when they needed to go.- The unit, so far, seems easy to clean.Cons- LINER/BOTTOM: It takes a fair amount of adjustment to get the liner to lie relatively flat on the bottom. And, even then, the liners move such that they're poking up through the litter, creating lots of hills and valleys in which "things" can hide. Also, the liner tears because of this. I put newspaper UNDER my liner and that helped with the mess. But this seems like it could benefit from some type of disposable "flattening device" inside the liner. I'm going to try using cardboard cut-outs on the bottom inside the liner to keep the liner flat and intact (although that may just soak up urine). Maybe thin, scratch-prooof, flat, plastic, disposable squares are needed on the bottom inside the liner.- EXTRA WORK [DESIGN ISSUE]: There's a seemingly unnecessary lip inside the litter box near the bottom that collects urine and gunk. So, more to clean for no apparent benefit.- TOP: Only some of the ridges on the top point toward the opening. If they all did, it would take ~10 seconds to sweep all the litter on top (and there's LOTS of it) back into the litter box. Instead, some ridges run parallel to the opening, so you have to forcefully brush perpendicular to the ridges to get the litter back in the box. Much messier and longer than necessary if the ridges all pointed to the opening.SET-UP: This replaces an enclosed cabinet set-up. For now, I've got the litter box on top of the cabinet, and it's a decent height so I'm not bending to the floor to scoop. I might give the interior a super-duper cleaning and use it for storing extra litter and other non-food cat supplies beneath the litter box. We'll see.

Title: Beautiful little box!
Review: Spacious and discreet, family that visited while I had it set up didnât realize it was a litter box and thought it was an air purifier. Originally I was going to get a modkat box but this one is just as nice and seems easier to clean. I didnât realize it had an extra inner cover, which would be perfect for cats that aim high. I didnât feel the need for it with mine, and not using it didnât affect the stability of the box. Unfortunately I am returning it because my stubborn cat will not use it, itâs so frustrating because cats Iâve had in the past did great with this type of box and itâs so much easier to keep the dogs out of it. The only con I would say is that it does slip a bit on the floor so it would work best on a rug or anti slip litter mat.

Title: Great if your cats dont poop or pee
Review: I would give it a 5 star for ascetics and negative 4 stars for function. Arriving at 1 star. The idea is great but the execution is terrible. Fitting the bags neatly is challenging but even when theyre in the cats just shred them covering up their business. The insert that goes into the center has a large lip at the bottom so waste is not easily scoped off the edge. Ultimately litter and waste seeps under the insert and if you dont fully take it apart it gets gross fast.I removed the insert as its mostly just preventing overage on the 6â wall of the base container. Well the base container has a significant groove in the bottom around the edge. Which also collects soiled litter that is a pain in butt to keep clean.Liked the look compared to the cheaper petmate bins that i used for years, but after a few months Im just tossing these and going back to tried and true for half the price.

Title: A really good upgrade
Review: It's just awesome because very little litter tracks out and keeps the area clean. This beats those boxes with a front door by a long shot.

Title: Liner makes a mess
Review: Pros: I love the look, size and the grooved top.Cons: The liner, the middle piece and it's hard to scoop. My cat is not fussy about her litter. But she likes to do her business with her butt near the edge. She's only 7 lbs so it's not like she needs a lot of room. So, what happens is her pee tends to run over the plastic bag liner. It's also hard to scoop with the "baggy" liner.

Review: Great product for small to medium cat. One large cat should be okay because it is square shape.looks great and top entry worked well. Quality is there, design to somewhat control the mess from going on the floor. I returned it because not big enough for my two cats. Not sure if it would work for any two size cats given they are fussy to begin with.Expensive but worth the try if you it works for you and the cat. Top entry works well and solid

Review: I bought it for the look. But if youâre looking for a more cleaning-friendly litter box, go for the circular one which I have as well. The circular one is an easy wipe down. The square one on the other hand has too many parts and the sand and the pees poos get stuck on the bottom rim of the middle part. As for the size I think itâs a bit too small for an adult cat. Besides that, I like the idea of the spoon hanging on the side but I wish they make a tray or a case for it so it doesnât dirty the side of the box.

Review: My 3 months old kitten was able to figure it out in 4 days 🙂 I offered her just the tray (with litter) for a couple of days. Meanwhile, I assembled the frame & lid and kept trowing toys inside so she got used to getting in there. Today, I put everything together and sheâs using it with no issues 😀 Iâm not using a garbage bag, though⦠it doesnât make any sense to me.Context: I live in a one bedroom apartment and I need to keep her away from my 2 other adult cats, this litter box really helps to keep things neat and clean in here 🙂
