OUTSTANDING ODOR CONTROL: Our proprietary formula instantly traps urine odor and prevents its build-up. And we never use fragrance, so there are no artificial scents that can irritate both cats and people.
EXCEPTIONAL CLUMPING: Because our litter is made exclusively from corn and cassava, it’s naturally rich in starches. This results in dry, fast-forming, and firm clumps that you can trust to stay together while scooping and cleaning your litter box.
VIRTUALLY NO DUST: Our proprietary machinery removes dust at key points in the production process, resulting in a litter that protects cats from possible respiratory issues—and your home from a dusty mess.

Title: Large Grain Best for Long-Haired Cats
Review: This is the only litter that works for my two giant, long-haired Maine Coon boys. However, I recommend the Large Grain, not Mixed or Small, for long-haired cats, and Small Grain for short-haired cats. I have been using cassava-based litter for almost 7 years, and back then it was out under the label "Garfield".--TLDRAll Grain Sizes:PRO - Fast clumping; Great odor control; Light color to track some health concerns; Long-lasting between changes; Non-toxic; Zero dust.Large Grain:PRO - Minimal tracking; No clumping/cementing in long fur.Small Grain:PRO - Fully coats stool for best odor control; Lasts longest between changes.CON - Poor tracking; Clumps/cements in long fur.Mixed Grain:CON - Most difficult to sift/keep clean (requires multiple tools / wastes more clean litter).--Small grain gets cemented into long fur, and is nearly impossible for my cats to remove themselves and requires more meticulous grooming. Large grain is perfect for long-haired cat breeds because the granules are big enough that they don't get stuck in their fur at all, and can't even make their way in their toe beans, yet still amazing at clumping urine in the box. It's amazing.Tracking is so much less with large grain, and easier to clean up than the small grain. This is where large outperforms small grain for Maine Coons, hands down. The small grain gets tracked everywhere so easily, like the cats came from the beach and brought the sandy shore. However, if I had short-haired cats, I WOULD probably use small grain anyway. The small grain is actually my favorite in how it coats poop and how easy it is to keep the box clean because it's easy to finely sift out smaller pieces of stool (especially soft stool that got broken up, as one of my cats is sometimes overly enthusiastic in covering up evidence of his waste).Any grain size soaks up urine super fast, and I can scoop it out instantly for disposal, but waiting a little bit does help it to solidify. PRO TIP: Make sure there is enough depth of litter so that the urine can solidify quicker than it can reach the bottom. That way, there's less scraping and keeps the vessel cleaner longer. You'll figure out how tall you'll need to keep it filled/re-filled.It stays clean longer than other litters I've used, and it's easy to see when it needs to be changed. Small also stays cleaner longer because most mess (like tiny pieces of soft stool or urine) clumps larger than an individual grain, and with a good, fairly fine mesh sifter (PRO TIP: buy the ones sold for reptile cages for Small Grain!), you can really get all the waste out. This ends up making it a bit more economical. For this reason, I don't like Mixed Grain, as it makes scooping unnecessarily complex. You need a scooper with large enough openings so that clean, large grains don't get captured, but that leaves some dirty, small grains clumps too small to capture. If you use a finer scooper to grab those pieces, you're grabbing clean, large grains along with it. So PRO TIP: Skip Mixed Grain size to avoid difficulty sifting.Odor control is great, but I would say due to how the small grain fully coats stool, that it has a bit better odor control. Even so, people come to my house and can't smell litter box odors in the guest bathroom that has two very giant litter boxes that my two boy cats use the most. (We have a third, smaller one in our primary bathroom because 1.5 boxes per cat is the rule we go by.) The largest box they prefer almost exclusively for stool (sometimes urine), the medium for urine, and the third sometimes urine.PRO TIP: I've tried a lot of different litter-tracking mats, but found that for the large grain, Chenille bath rugs are the absolute best and easiest to keep clean. The tall, large pile essentially softly brushes most of the large grains off of paws, and allows me to shake them off back into the litter box. They then go straight into the wash on a regular basis. I keep a second set to replace the one in the wash. It's the best. I hated wiping or hand-cleaning other types of litter mats. Tracked small grains just kind of cemented (in fur, or on mats) and was always a nightmare to deal with.

Title: This is THE litter you didn’t know you needed
Review: Veterinarian and cat lover here. I have used a ton of litters over the years and unscented clay litter is what my cats prefer so that’s what I have always used. Based on other reviews I decided to give this a go. I have a litter robot, a regular pan litter box, a cat that makes super stinky poo and a cat that is asthmatic. I am going to review what’s important to me with regards to cat litter.*this is for the sustainably yours large grain only*1. Clumping- this is by FAR the hardest clumping litter that exists. Period. Rock hard clumps. No crumbling. Super easy to scoop. It’s impressive. Nothing compares.2. Scoopability: very easy to scoop and the clumps do not stick to the side of my robot or my litter pan. The thing I hate most about clay litter is the clumps always stick to the side of the litter boxes and they crumble making it hard to get it all out. With this litter the clumps stay in one piece. It would be very hard to break apart. Very easy to run my giant scooper through the litter and across the box. No digging like with clay and it doesn’t stick to the scooper. Box stays clean. Very little to no streaking in the litter robot globe.3. Dust- zero dust. I have a cat with asthma so this is non negotiable.4. Tracking - does track a little, not any worse than the low tracking clay litters. The litter is beige/yellow so if you have dark floors you will see it. I have a giant litter mat under each box and a chenille rug in the path and it contains 95% of the tracking. My Roborock gets the rest every day.5. Smell: smell is very well contained in my litter robot but if my stinky pop cat poops in the regular box and doesn’t bury it, I can smell it. I refuse to use scented litters bc chemicals and my asthmatic cat, so the occasional stinky poo I can live with.6. Cost: It’s expensive, really expensive. I guess you get what you pay for…If this is in your budget, it’s 100% worth it.I’m a convert and will continue to use this litter. I can’t speak for product consistency bc I haven’t used it very long. It did take my cats 2 weeks to start using the litter box with this litter regularly. My advice to introduce- add another new cheap deep pan litter box to what you have already, fill it with this litter only (2 bags = $40), put it in a cat desirable location, and give them a few weeks to adjust before you switch out their current toilets. If you decide to give it a go, I hope you like it as much as I do. Another reviewer recommended mixing with Boxie Pro and getting similar clumping results making it a little more cost effective. I may give that a try.

Review: It clumps ROCK HARD. 10/10 on clumping. It does a good job of odor control too. I used to use Almo Nature litter, which I really liked but it tracked a lot. So, this was a great alternative. However, because it clumps very hard, if you are going to flush it down the toilet, you will need to break the clump into smaller pieces and be careful not to flush too much at a time. But because it clumps well, the rest of the litter stays clean and you need to change the whole littler less often than, say, World's Best Cat Litter. When I switched from this litter to World's Best, I had both litter mixed in the box, and it was actually a pretty good combo!

Review: So this is some great litter and I completely recommend it to everyone. But, I have found that it is the best when mixed with a decent clay litter for a few reasons.First being the bag size and price point. 35$ before tax for 10lbs is a bit too much to want to use it on its own unless you have the money to spare and or don't care. I get a good clay litter for 20$ and its about 20lbs.Second, Using this litter on it's own was a bit of a mess it sticks to the bottom of the stainless steel pans and takes a bit of scraping to get it off.It tracks really really bad when used alone given its so light weight. When mixed though its no where near as bad very minimal. With out it being mixed into another litter it would not last a month due to the clumping. You would be constantly adding more or having to buy multiple bags in a month.Smell wise there is no smell completely absorbs any. I have no complaints there at all mixed or not.I got this bag of litter May 28th it is at the time of writing this June 24th all I have done is clean it daily and topped it up only twice since and still no smell and the remaining litter is completely fine. Could likely go another couple weeks before a full on dump and change.Would only need to add about 2 or so cups of this to about 3 inch deep worth of clay litter and get at least a months worth of use out of it if cleaned daily like you are supposed to. I have 2 cats and 2 boxes and half a bag of this litter left that's pretty damn good given with just clay I was dumping it every 2weeks.So, its a great cat litter just as an addition to your current litter to make it longer lasting less stinky and clump better without using up all the litter in just a few pees lolWill be getting this again 100% great addition to clay or possibly other litter types.

Review: After watching Jackson Galaxy's wonderful videos, I decided to try this out with our wonderful new 3.5 month old kitten Lizzie. Our previous kitty, Lily (a stray who showed up last November at 8 months old, got hit by a car end of August and we were absolutely DEVASTATED, as she was my first kitty (my husband had many in the past)!!!! That same week, we adopted a new kitten who needed a home from a lady in our community, who's cat had a litter of kittens. With Lily, I had used a brand of clay litter (I won't mention the brand) and it was great but they must have changed the formula because now it would create so much dust, to the point where I developed a horrible choking cough from emptying it twice a day, so imagine the lungs for a little kitten!!!! Our new little Lizzie is a VIGOROUS digger in her litter box, so this compounded the dust factor. Sustainably Yours is pricy, but it is AMAZING!!! It is not only biodegradable, but is safe if ingested, doesn't give off a plume of dust and has the consistency of fluffy cornmeal. It soaks up urine and poo like crazy - the urine balls are so hard and compact that there is minimal litter waste. It has a lovely sort of 'oatmeal/barely there lemony scent' - if that makes sense. Other reviews say it tracks, but not anymore than the litter I had been using. I HIGHLY recommend this for the well being of our cats, owners and our environment!!!!

Review: Update: tried the small grains instead of the large ones - so much better as it clumps faster and for some reason not flat as a pancake but more lumps, so easier to scoop out. Both my cats love it and prefer to previous brands we tried, so definitely sticking with this!———Tried for the first time due to good reviews. Less tracking than the previous brand used, but as the grains are small and I use a robotic hoover, I’m ok with it. It’s dust free and so clean looking that I don’t even know my cats have peed in it till I try to scoop and find the clumps as there is no smell. If they poop you can see them clearly but again limited smell if covered properly. The pee does not clump like a ball but flat and does stick to the bottom but easily scooped up without breaking into pieces - it’s rock hard! This makes it a little difficult for me to scoop into the litter bin as the opening is not wide enough sometimes given that the pee clumps flat instead of a ball and hard to break! Once everything is scooped out, it doesn’t smell at all. Both of my cats took to it immediately without having to slowly “introduce” them to it. It says it’ll last 3 weeks but for me, I think it will only last 2 weeks with my 2 cats and this is only one litter box - I have 3 and currently trialling 3 different brands to see which ones my cats prefer and works for me in terms of ease of removal, clumping ability and smell. My cats do seem to prefer to pee in this box for some reason. I do love the light colour/clean look - easy to see if there are problems with the pee/poo.So on balance, I’m happy to continue using this till I find a better alternative but wish it wasn’t so expensive as it’s shipped from US and not selling in UK.

Review: This IS the best cat litter! First of all it is a natural litter so I can have peace of mind about my cats' health. It clumps quickly and the clumps are very hard so they don't fall apart and make a mess when you're scooping the litterbox. This means the litter you're left with is much cleaner and smells much less than other litters. The unclumped litter is so fine that it makes scooping the litterbox so quick and easy as it falls through the scoop without any fuss. My three cats even seem to prefer the litterbox with Sustainably Yours litter over the litterboxes with their previous litter in. It's a little expensive to get this litter in Australia but I would say it's very much worth it. The only negative thing I could say is because the litter is like sand it tends to spread over the tiles more than a non-tracking litter, and feels awful stuck to the bottom of bare feet. If you have a cat that likes to "throw" litter maybe consider choosing something else, but I would happily sweep up/vacuum more often just because of how awesome this litter is.

Customers say

Customers like the clumping power and dust level of the animal litter. They mention it's great at clumping, leaves no litter traces on the floor, and is easy to clean. However, some customers have reported that the product tracks through the house. Opinions are mixed on the odor control, quality, and value for money.
