Title: Strong hooks & Very Productive
Review: Usually, I’m not the type to write reviews on Amazon, but this product is amazing. We fish out of Hilo, Hawaii off shore. This little lure worked magic with the Yellowfin Tuna. Ranging from 3-8lbs in size the hooks held up perfectly fine. After 5-7 Tuna the rubber started to rip, but for the price of the lures, we didn’t mind! I highly recommend these to keep on your boat or in your tackle.

Title: First Impressions are Good
Review: My first impressions are that this is a really good lure. Previously, I've used a similar soft plastic with these types of reflective shine and they are incredibly productive; however, they were always use-your-own-jig standalone plastics. This one comes with internal weighted hooks, creating quite a value proposition considering I can reuse these hooks once the soft plastic breaks off. The hooks are incredibly sharp.I had to knock a star off because as soon as I put this in my hand, one of the eyes fell off of the lure. I understand that lures are designed in a way to first catch fisherman before catching fish -- I guarantee you that the eye won't make much of a difference with catching fish, so they definitely did not need to put these on. What I don't like is littering in the waters, and that's exactly what the eyes are going to be doing when I go fishing with these -- so I am going to opt to remove the eyes from them prior to going out there -- and I will urge you to as well.Something to note about the nature of weighted jigs like this is that they are NOT balanced horizontally, so it'll give you a different action. My intention is to use these for shallow water (back bay) fluke fishing on my kayak, and I will be excited to report back in a few months when fluke season starts. I have no doubt this will do well on crappie and bass.
