Title: This is an amazing addition to the true story of Christmas genre!
Review: I bought this because I wanted to read Mr. Arroyo's take on who the Wise Men really were and I was not disappointed. He teaches, in a way that will delight adults and children alike, from research and belief in God and Jesus Christ's divine origin, the origins of the Three Wise Men (without the modern addendums of 'royalty' and the Orient), which 'new' perspective is actually a scripturally more accurate perspective. The illustrations are charming, fresh, and captivating. Of course, the 'narration' is entirely delightful, especially once the narrator is 'revealed.' Really fun and a must-have for anyone who has small children. For me? It is just a wonderful addition to my 'grandma' library.

Title: Beautiful book
Review: This book, along with it's companion The Spider That Saved Christmas, are presented beautifully. The Christmas story told with beautiful pictures and understandable language for even the young listeners. They were more than I wanted to spend, but when I got them I was glad I did. These books would make a lovely gift or a wonderful read aloud. My grandchildren sat quietly enjoying the story presentation, from the 10 year old to the just 4 year old.We all know this story but I think the book is worth a look if only for the presentation.

Title: Child appropriate
Review: I was searching for an appropriate Christening gift for an older child (3 yr old) new to our family. What better than a story about the Christ child. I'd heard about this book on TV and decided to take a chance on it. The book itself is very professionally done from materials to illustrations. The author has written a beautiful story incorporating some history along with tying together a number of Biblical passages that bring the story to life credibly while keeping it at an appropriate level for children.

Review: Bought this as a gift for family with 4 young children, & also to find out the historical information the author discovered while writing the book. It has absolutely beautiful illustrations; the colors are ethereal! Story is well written & the 2 page further explanation for adults at the end of the book is a nice touch. Highly recommend. Itâs a book children will enjoy repeatedly reading.

Title: Nice story about the three magi
Review: I bought it to give to a granddaughter. It was well-written and illustrated. The biblical Magi are also referred to as the Wise Men or Kings. The Three Magi were distinguished foreigners in the Gospel of Matthew and Christian tradition. They are said to have visited Jesus after his birth, bearing gifts of gold, frankincense, and myrrh.

Review: I'm always looking for Christmas and Easter books that tell the real, historical meaning of the celebrations, especially since I teach in a Catholic school. Books about Santa Claus are very easy to come by. So I was happy to add this intriguing story about the wise men to my library. I read it to 4 classes of children in Grades 1 through 3 this Christmas and they loved the surprise ending, as well as the manger scene, and they mentioned liking the illustrations. The surprise ending is that the whole story is told from the perspective of one of the horses. ð

Review: Excellent book. I am looking forward to sharing it with my grandchildren. The illustrations are amazing. I really enjoyed the explanations on the last two pages. The last sentence, âFollow the light, go to the King, and make haste to discover the truthâ applies to all of us. Isnât that what we are all called to do? In John 8:12, Jesus says âI am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will not walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.â In John 14:6, He also says, âI am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.â
