Lindy gave me the same vibe as Winter from Reckless- she just needed someone to loosen her up a bit. And Dex was just the man for the job.I absolutely loved Dex. He wanted Lindy so much and did whatever he could to show her. And when it came time to it, he tried to give her happiness even if it didn’t include him. 😭 He was such a sweet (and dirty) hero. Title: Full of passion, sweetness, acceptance and love
Review: I loved Dex and Lindy’s age gap, opposites attract, instalove romance. This is a heartwarming, funny and steamy romance full of relatable characters with mild angst. Lindy is an accountant by day and a secret romance novelist at night. Dex is a professional hockey player. Dex’s brother is dating Lindy’s sister. Dex knew Lindy was the one from the moment he met her but Lindy’s reasons for not dating Dex are never ending. The book starts with a wake up married in Vegas scene and then rolls us back to how Dex and Lindy got there. Knowing the end did not diminish the laughs, swoons, or joy in the journey which involves all the swoony swoons while also pulling at your heartstrings with all the emotions. I just loved the way Dex gently, lovingly, and beautifully helped Lindy come out of her self-imposed straight laced prison and begin to embrace a full life and all sides of herself. The story will give you all the feels - laughing, crying, swooning, cringing, teeth gritting, and cheering through sweet moments, steamy scenes, chuckles, supportive friends and family, painful pasts, and heart squeezing love. I am excited to read more of this series and the James’ brothers.

Review: If you're looking for a romance book that's sure to give you all the feels and make you laugh, then look no further, On A Manhunt series by Vanessa Vale. It introduces us to Dex James, aka "Man Candy," and his love interest Lindy Beckett, who is 35 years old.From the get-go, you can feel how drawn Dex is to Lindy, although he keeps his profession a secret to let her get to know him on a deeper level. He goes out of his way to show her how special she is without having any preconceived notions about him based on his profession. This makes for an interesting developing relationship, filled with plenty of all kinds of emotions - it certainly won't leave you bored!Lindy starts her story off with a "Perfect Man List" but eventually comes around and discovers that Dex is the one she has been waiting for all along. The chemistry between them is explosive and, if I'm honest, will make you desperate for your own Dexter James! Get ready to swoon as they take their time getting to know each other while giving readers stunning scenes.Do not hesitate to pick up this beautiful story that boasts five stars by yours truly - surely it'll stay with you after turning the last page!

Review: Two starts for the reverse age gap (we need more of that!) and fleshed out characters with different personalities. Sadly, the instalove didn’t work for me. It all happens too fast, like they get marry in two weeks? It was annoying and repetitive, esp since the first book was also instalove. It could also do with more editing.

Review: Fantastic read and dex was a dream of a character. The age thing wasn’t relevant to me as he was a very mature character whilst at times Lindy acted younger. Anyway story is interlinked with each brother and I loved the strength and feels of family. Loved the catchup with maverick and Bridget. The dialogue and flow of the story was seamless and engaging and I read in one setting. Off to read the next, kudos to the author on a great series.

Review: This book was everything that I wanted it to be. After reading Man Hunt I was already intrigued by Lindy and Dex and knew their story would be one that I loved. This story has the guy falls first and harder trope that I don’t think I see enough of. Dex was head over heels for Lindy, she just took a bit longer to catch up. Plus in true @vanessa_vale_author style the spice was *chefs kiss*Rating: 5⭐️I can’t wait for book 3 to release!! I’ll have all my fingers and toes crossed that I can get an arc.

He falls in love with Lindy the first time he meets her and is determined to marry her.This is a cute instalove story with a dirty talking man and a woman who knows what she wants.I listened to this on audio and it is a single narrator but she does a fabulous job for both characters.
