Best of Batman, The (DVD)
It’s the ultimate in villain-thwarting, Gotham-saving superhero action as the Dark Knight stars in 13 all-time fan favorite Batman animated episodes! Together for the first time on DVD, these are the very best episodes chosen from multiple animated Batman series. In “Bane,” Batman faces the double threat of chemically enhanced uber-assassin Bane and crime boss Rupert Thorne. Then, “Avatar” finds the Dark Knight battling an ancient Egyptian sorceress unleashed by the fiendish Ra’s Al Ghul. In “Mad Love,” bad girl Harley Quinn falls for the Joker, with complications for the Caped Crusader that are definitely no joke. And that’s just the start of the richly animated, non-stop thrills loaded into this must-have collection featuring the best of the Bat!]]>

Title: Great Material For Aspiring Heroes
Review: I purchased this item as $4 add on item to get my 3 year old familiar with the Dark Knight. It’s not an amazing collection, and not every episode stands alone... but it’s a great apportinity to introduce the classic characters to youngsters. Well worth the $4.

Title: Great Batman Adventures, Batgirl Included
Review: I really enjoyed these cartoons. Co-stars Robin, Nightwing, and Batgirl in some of the cartoons. Other appearances include Catwoman and Harley Quinn. Joker, Mr. Freeze, Bane, Penguin are some of the bad guys. I'm unsure when these cartoons are made, but quality are no different than current Cartoon Network shows. Great for kids and adults too.

Title: Not bad but it could have been better
Review: This is the best of Batman the Animated series from 1992 to 1998 but I thought this was the best of every Batman cartoon but it is not. It is kind of misleading because they are telling you that this is the best of every Batman animated series that he's ever been on it simply isn't. this is the best of the Batman animated series that appeared on Fox from 1992 to 1997 or 1998 I forget what year it ended. it is not bad but it is not that great either they are some episodes they could have picked but didn't. It is watchable it is still very enjoyable but it could have been better. They could have picked some episodes from the Batman animated series from the 1970s or they could have picked some episodes from the brave and the bold but they didn't. This is for True Batman fans alone.

Review: This is one special superhero. My 4 year old grandson began watching Batman when he was only 2 years old and hasn't looked back. He can tell you the whole story without missing a beat. The animation is really good and it is not gory or really violent. He has had not bad dreams or anything derogatory with watching these cartoons. He loves them so much, that he has learned how to turn on the DVD player by himself and watch, with parental approval.
