#1 New York Times and international bestselling author Jeffrey Archer’s Clifton Chronicles series has taken the world by storm, with 2.5 million copies in print in English.
This multi-generational, multi-volume saga of fate, fortune, and redemption follows the Clifton and Barrington families on a breathtaking journey from 1920 all the way through the present. Here together for the first time in an eBook bundle are the complete Clifton Chronicles, including all seven novels:
Only Time Will Tell
The epic tale of Harry Clifton's life begins in 1920, with the words "I was told that my father was killed in the war." A dock worker in Bristol, Harry never knew his father, but he learns about life on the docks from his uncle, who expects Harry to join him at the shipyard once he's left school.
The Sins of the Father
Only days before Britain declares war on Germany, Harry Clifton, hoping to escape the consequences of long-buried family secrets recently revealed, and forced to admit that his wish to marry Emma Barrington will never be fulfilled, has joined the Merchant Navy. But his ship is sunk in the Atlantic by a German U-boat, drowning almost the entire crew.
Best Kept Secret
1945, London. The vote in the House of Lords as to who should inherit the Barrington family fortune has ended in a tie. The Lord Chancellor's deciding vote will cast a long shadow on the lives of Harry Clifton and Giles Barrington. Harry returns to America to promote his latest novel, while his beloved Emma goes in search of the little girl who was found abandoned in her father's office on the night he was killed.
Be Careful What You Wish For
When Ross Buchanan is forced to resign as chairman of the Barrington Shipping Company, Emma Clifton wants to replace him. But Don Pedro Martinez intends to install his puppet, the egregious Major Alex Fisher, in order to destroy the Barrington family firm just as the company plans to build its new luxury liner, the MV Buckingham.
Mightier Than the Sword
When Harry Clifton visits his publisher in New York, he learns that he has been elected as the new president of English PEN, and immediately launches a campaign for the release of a fellow author, Anatoly Babakov, who's imprisoned in Siberia. Babakov's crime? Writing a book called Uncle Joe, a devastating insight into what it was like to work for Stalin.
Cometh the Hour
Giles must decide if he should withdraw from politics and try to rescue Karin, the woman he loves, from behind the Iron Curtain. But is Karin truly in love with him, or is she a spy?
This was a Man
This Was a Man opens with a shot being fired, but who pulled the trigger, and who lives and who dies?
In Whitehall, Giles Barrington discovers the truth about his wife Karin from the Cabinet Secretary. Is she a spy or a pawn in a larger game?

Title: Wow. New favorite author
Review: I read. A LOT.I pick and choose authors carefully, because I read so much, and so quickly, and donât want to waste my time. I want to get lost in the story, not frustrated at bad characters and faulty plot lines.I stumbled onto this author, with the Warwick series first and then got hooked on the Clifton series. There are many sub-plot lines, complex characters, and suspense that was just mysterious enough to avoid predictability without being completely unreasonable. I learned much about British culture and government, all wrapped in good story. Iâm so sad to end this series, but look forward to the next I can find by this author.

Title: Great Series
Review: I read all 7 books in the Clifton Chronicles in about 2 months. The characters in the books are well thought out. The story lines are fun to follow. Very quick reads. Once I finished the last book I was disappointed it was over. But I liked the way the author tied everything up at the end.

Title: A good series of books, from being to end. Really enjoyed them.
Review: I really enjoyed the books. However, it would have been helpful to have a listing of the characters and when they came into the stories. It was interesting to learn about England and their spin on political issues. I thought it would be boring, but it wasnât.

Title: Fantastic Series - Complete Collection
Review: Despite what other reviewers are saying, this is the complete text of all books in the series. I found the first book in the series as a free offer from Amazon and before I had completed reading this book, I knew I had to purchase the entire series. Now that I have read the entire series I will be looking for more titles from Jeffrey Archer.

Title: Great Entertaining Book Series!
Review: For some people it may be a waste of time, because you need to keep buying the books in order to know what happens next; but as in most of Archer novels you get hitched by the ongoing drama which is magically described and keeps you turning the pages.

Review: Loved the characters. Loved the story. Loved the history combining the characters and their lives. Outstanding. If this book was non fiction I would want to meet everyone of Harry and Emmaâs family members.

Title: Cliftonâs vs the world
Review: For some reason I am still reading this and am at book six or seven. Archer always leaves you wondering. Almost like a Friday soap opera! Will Archer actually end the soap opera at book 7? TBDEntertaining, but the stupidity of greed gets tiresome.I likely wonât follow this author.

Review: I had read the entire Clifton Chronicles in paperback when a friend let me borrow her set. When I saw it was available on Kindle I had to have it. This is the 3rd time I read the entire series and I absolutely love it.If you bought it and did not receive the compete set, just let AMAZON know what happened and they will send you the proper link. I'm telling you, YOU DON'T WANT TO MISS OUT ON READING THIS SERIES!! I don't usually recommend books because everyone has their level of sensitivities but I can safely recommend this one, Archer is a "clean" author, he does not need to add "shock value" to his books with "gratuitous sex and violence".

Review: This is not what I expected to receive! Instead of being The Complete Clifton Chronicles, it is indeed ONE CHAPTER of each of the seven books in the Clifton Chronicles. Wish I had purchased the seven books individually as it would only have cost me a little more than this rip-off cost! Do not purchase this worthless set!!!!After submitting this review, Amazon sent me an email with the corrected link to The Complete Clifton Chronicles and I am so pleased to say that I now indeed do have all seven books in the series. Thank You Amazon ~ Great Customer Service! I am so pleased that I purchased the complete set of the Clifton Chronicles as several of the books end leaving the reader anxious to read the next book and it is so nice to just turn the page and continue the storyline in the new book. I have read the first 6 books of the series and often find it difficult to stop reading, often reading late into the night. Jeffrey Archer has written an excellent saga of the events of the Clifton family and all the interesting characters they encounter. I will definitely be recommending these books to friends!!!

Review: First 4 books were good, but drags into a soap for the remainder. Not fond of cliffhanger endings in books as a ploy to start the next one.
