Title: Loved It
Review: Abagail has been traveling the world to escape her past when her current stop has her running into Alejandro. He invites her to a restaurant to eat and its is his restaurant. Sparks fly between them and soon they are back at his place having an steamy night together. However a misunderstanding sends Abagail running. Her brother calls her and tells her that she needs to come home and that he'll have someone pick her up once she arrives. Imagine her surprise when its Alejandro that is waiting to take her home. Can he explain what the misunderstanding was? Will she give him another chance?This is an amazing story that will draw you in from the first page on. The chemistry between them is sizzling hot. This is a well written and very entertaining story. I would recommend this book to any book lover.I voluntarily read and reviewed this book.

Title: Huh
Review: This is part one of what looks like six shorts on the same couple and for only 48 pages it ends on a cliffhanger. This author could combine them all to one book and make it feel like getting a complete story.if I knew it was this before hand I wouldn't be as disappointed

Title: Quick and easy read
Review: This is a very short story about a strong female lead who leaves her rich life behind to find herself in a more meaningful path. She meets a sexy stranger who is domintant yet sweet. Unfortunately he is also a jerk and hurts her feelings. They parted ways with sour memories of their encounter (well, at least SHE did). But life throws them together again... it was great to see their chemistry again. I really liked how well developed the characters were... unfortunately the book is a little too short and it kind of feels like an abrupt ending. Of course, the story continues... I just wish it hadn't quite ended so abruptly. (I should mention Im not a fan of cliffhangers).

Title: Enemies Are Brought Back Together For A Wedding!!
Review: In the first book of this new series by Vanessa James, The Best Man, Claiming Abigail Alejandro and Abigail meet in Madrid and have a one-night-stand. Alejandro also happened to be the man that Abigail gave away her virginity to. But, he was too egotistical to even care about what that fact meant to her. He sent her on her way with no care for her feelings. She is heart broken. Picking up to continue to search for her new home in a country that she chooses, Abigail has found her place where she can call home in Edinburgh, Scotland. Just as she gets hired for a new job that will advance her career in photography she gets a call from her brother and he wants her to come back home the following week for his shotgun wedding. Abigail fly's home and her brother sends his best man to pick her up at the airport. And surprise... It is Alejandro. All hell breaks loose and enemies will face off.

Title: Tossing caution for a fling
Review: Nothing in this brief story intrigued me to continue the series. Abigail was a free spirit doing what she could as a rich girl. Alejandro was a self righteous egomaniac. They didn't know each other, so they surely couldn't be enemies. The "Best Man never showed up. The family seemed to be the only enemies. There was no unity or trust between them. Maybe after reading the series the dots will connect. But for me, this is the beginning and the end.

Title: Going to be an interesting series.
Review: This is the first book in a series by Vanessa James and if this book is any indication of what the rest of of books in this series are going to be like, we are in for an excellent reading treat. It's about a rich family, The Berke, the father, Berke Senior, runs his family with an iron fist and only his words are the right words. I can see already that there is trouble for poor Abigail and only one person who will be willing or able to help her is Alejandro.

Review: This is a short introduction to the beginning of the Best Man series in this book you meet Abigal a troubled rich girl who wants to start over away from her privilege life and Alejandro her sexy but arrogant one night stand they both move on or so they think until Abigale has to go home for her brothers wedding and could things get anymore uncomfortable and complicated sure the best man is Alejandro let the chemisrty and insults start.

Review: This book is the well written meeting of Abigail and Alejandro. Both disallusioned by their upbringing but dealing with it in very different ways. One is turned self absorbed and has little time for anything but work, the other is still seeking a place to feel like home and a job that will capture her interest. At the end of this book I am not sure if I like Alejandro although I am sure this will turn around in future episodes.I think this is the first Vanessa James book I have read and it has left me anticipating how the relationship evolves between the 2 main characters and the development of that between the father and them both. It is an intriguing situation, perfectly poised to go in many different directions.
